Re: TX St discussion
But we all knew, or at least thought that this was a rebuilding year. Replacing half the defensive starters and all of the WRs is not easy for anyone. And all while playing our toughest schedule ever. These negative nellies have no perspective. I think the original point is valid. “Trap games” usua...

Re: TX St discussion
We need to be careful. This could be a Trap Game! We needed a hail mary to beat Troy and lost to JMU after leading 28-3. Shawn clark is like 3-9 or something against teams of comparable stature. We are 3-4 in our last 7 games. Every game is a trap game. If it were not for the tamu win...which was j...

Could have helped you if I knew last week. I know of a couple of parents that weren’t going.

Re: TX St discussion
1. Scoring during the "middle 8"- we need to play better and score more during the last 4 minutes of 1st half and first 4 minutes of 2nd half. I think that this is something that is going to plague us all year. No real reason to think this but there is always something that you have to overcome. 2. ...

Re: TX St discussion
Hopefully the players we currently have will prove to be much better than the previous ones. Fingers crossed. In the mean time, seeing that after five games in we are still lacking consistency, is there a way to gauge or expected to see things improve? Or, have we already seen some improvement? I t...

Re: TX St discussion
Please "educate" me here, why do we have to replace 7 defensive starters all at once? Is this a rebuild vice reload situation? Or, just something SC took over from previous recruiting, or what? It’s somewhere in between the two. The term “reload” implies that you can plug and play and not skip a be...

Re: TX St discussion
Take away the sacks which NCAA counts towards rushing yards and it doesn't look as bad. Healthier backfield and better second half play calling, and that average for us is probably much higher. Fact is we lost that game more than they won it. Blowing a 28-3 lead at The Rock was just plain embarrass...

Re: Gameday Experience
I really know the answer to this question (without a google) but figured I'd ask. It's not so much a question for this thread but I didn't want to start a new one. What exactly is the point of the screen things the team puts up behind a coach on our sideline? I know it's so that the signs can't get...

Re: Auburn coming to HCC
It worked out well. Part of the stipulation for us moving it was that they had to come back when the students were on campus.

Bowling the stadium in isn’t the priority for expansion, so the speaker system is the logical alternative.

Re: El Cid game thead
Was is Hetzel (#12) that made that one-handed catch towards the end? Reminiscent of Hennigan's one-handed sideline catch as a freshman against Wake Forest. We've got talent that hasn't even surfaced yet.. Yup. And fun fact about Hetzel and why he's seeing the field more this year... He's a walk on ...

Re: Gameday Experience
Since the wind was blowing and there were empty rows below us, we moved down 10 rows from the top of the East stands. There was a noticeable difference (volume much louder) in the music. Went to a Panthers preseason game last year and the music was so loud that it was almost unbearable. I know they...

Re: TX St discussion
You have to play the long game. It’s a long season and guys wear down. RB1 is dinged up and missed 2 and half games. RB1A &3 have never gone a full season without missing time for one reason or another.
