Re: Fall Practice

A Democrat article about Hennigan made mention of injuries to the WR corps namely meadors. Said he had been out a while. Anyone know what's up?

Re: My honest outsiders view of this App State team

Call me crazy, but I don't take the opinion of a fan of a consistently overrated team as too credible. UGA has multiple letdown games each year and needs to take every team on their schedule very seriously. That includes App State.

Re: Remaining football parking

Daphne, I have a question regarding reserved parking in the future. As YC membership increases, and the spots we currently have fill up (as they're about to do already, this year), what would be the process in allocating parking in the future? Would some folks be out of luck given that they may be ...

Re: New Softball Coach Needed

As hard as it is to recruit quality players to Boone, it's equally as hard to recruit top coaching talent. This is an experienced hire and someone with a great knowledge of recruiting in the region. Instead of the "woe is me" attitude being shown by some of these players (and parents, obviously), wh...

Re: New System Glitch

This happened to me as well. My card had been ran twice early this morning. I called and spoke with the YC office, and they said they would notify me when the issue was fixed.

Re: Time for some BBQ discussions

I've never been in love with Woodlands, but I don't think it's bad at all. We always enjoyed going for the live music more than anything else. I also worked across the street during my time in Boone, and I would see the pitmaster walking up the road to tend to the pits every morning.

Re: Time for some BBQ discussions

I grew up in Albemarle and now live in Concord but also work in Charlotte. Within the Charlotte city limits, I haven't found a single proper Lexington style BBQ. I worked with a bunch of folks from Connecticut who would always ask for recommendations on BBQ in Charlotte, and I couldn't, in good fai...

Just curious - does anyone know roughly what our current number of season ticket holders is?

Re: Call to My QC App State Connects

I live in Mooresville and work for Wells Fargo in Charlotte. The Mooresville area is growing fast. Lots of new restaraunts and things to do. I commute to Charlotte via bus. Catch the bus in Davidson and let someone else worry about driving through the I77 traffic. The Mooresville Graded School Dist...

Re: Call to My QC App State Connects

I live in Concord and work in Charlotte. The drive from Concord to Charlotte is I'm assuming much better than the Mooresville/Statesville drive given the disaster that is 77. Make sure to fully consider that drive both ways before making a decision where you want to live. Personally, I enjoy Concord...

Re: LKN Chapter App State/GS Watch Party

May I ask what happened to the viewing parties at Harvey's? I live in Concord, now, and we went there for the Montana game a couple years ago. Been back a few times since but not for a game. Seemed like the perfect match for a bunch of App fans.

Re: Must Read..."Nurse Shook"

Excellent read. My wife worked for Health Services for nearly 5 years during our time at ASU under the former (now retired) director. She was a Biology major but attained her BSN (RN) and MSN degrees following graduation and is currently finishing up her DNP program. Her time with Health Services wa...
