Re: Nike Mountaineer Football Gear
I've yet to find any App gear made by Under Armour, but everything I've bought that wasn't Nike was pretty much junk.

I have it on good authority that we will indeed have a coaching staff, this season.

So, you’re neither quantity or quality? I knew one of those was true, already. I’ll let you guess which one.

Re: That “Head Coach feel”
We just won a 5th straight bowl game with a brand new head coach after getting kicked in the nuts right out of the gate, and we’re worried about him wearing a hoodie and a hat? Season’s over. Take some time off. Sit the next few plays out.

Re: Charlotte Bowl Game
For all the moaning about us going to the New Orleans bowl, at least it’s played in one heck of a venue on a legit football field, not a 96 yard soccer field with 8 yard end zones. To me that is an insult to any teams deserving of a bowl. Therein lies the problem. You get a bowl! You get a bowl! Ev...

Consider who you're talking to. Besides, you'd die of contamination in that cesspool in far less time than it would take him to drown someone.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 2:19 pmThreatening murder on a sports message board - very cool, very normal.

"Our traditions came about organically and were not “stolen” ." "GATA with out a doubt was brought to Statesboro by Erk Russell from his UGA days ." I don't think you understand the meaning of organically and stolen Think I’m alright here pal Organically: used in this sense of the word means to com...

Re: Appalachian Unpopular Opinions
The drainage ditch dunk is the only GaSo tradition I've ever heard of that isn't stolen from another program. From their uniforms to their mascot, GaSo might be the most generic football team in America. Our traditions came about organically and were not “stolen”. GATA with out a doubt was brought ...

I don't feel bad for Drinkwitz, but the joke's on that kid. He's going to Arkansas.

If Jean Mary wants the DC job, I’d take him over Woody, but I’d be happy with either. I want Jones back either way.

Re: OFFICIAL: SHAWN CLARK HC
I've never actually heard coach Clark speak. I'm sure he is bright (otherwise they wouldn't have hired him) but I have no concept of his football IQ. Does anyone have any clips of interviews? Is Clark a recruiter? A player's coach? An offensive guru? Or is he kind of a Dabo Swinney "good 'ol boy"? ...

Re: App State players are speaking out on Twitter
I appreciate that the players are showing support for a guy they obviously respect, but it seems like there may be some kind of mutiny if Clark isn't hired. The players can't be allowed to dictate who they'll play for. At the end of the day, their responsibility is to play. In theory I agree with y...

Re: Who stays, who goes?
I would rephrase your comment from "the defense came around" to "the defensive coordinator finally came around" - I came around on Roof, but I promise you, Roof was not solely responsible for the turn around. There were a couple of “field generals” that were making adjustments and new calls on the ...

Re: Our Next Head Mountaineer
Like many, I'm also a big fan of Coach Clark and probably wouldn't be upset at all if he were named HC. The players obviously love him, he can recruit, no one would ever question his loyalty, and he would probably be around a while. Those are the reasons I'm seeing (and that I also support) as to wh...

Lions don’t concern themselves with the opinions of gazelles. Charlotte is still a joke in most every way. It’s not like Healy wouldn’t leave that place in a heartbeat with a respectable offer.

Re: Dink to Mizzou per twitter/ Ethan Joyce
I’ll thank him and wish him well, but honestly he’ll probably be forgotten before long. It’s a shame, but this is the reality of where we are in the grand scheme of things. I’m all for a hire with ties to get some continuity. We need it if this is all true.
