Re: UNCC fires Price, Fancher interim coach
They are giving Judy a lot of heat. Students and the message board want her gone. Men's Soccer (twice) is the only sport to make the NCAA's in the last three years, although not this year. Price may have wanted out, or may not have wanted to be a part of a sinking ship. Judy will retire within a year.

Re: Yosef Stage
The stats were on the ribbon boards on the floor opposite the teams benches. Not sure where else they are located. I sat across from the teams benches (section 4). There were no stats visible from where I sat. The ribbon board between the benches only show the ads. Again, while clarity of the video...

Re: Interesting Idea ---
You never know who will be a top ranked team due to schedules being put together so far in advance and it would likely take several stars aligning (ie. Go undefeated by beating 2 autonomous programs, beating 2 solid G5’s, winning the conference that hopefully ranks #1 or #2 amongst G’s and probably...

Re: Yosef Stage
A little off topic, but we took advantage of the "free ticket" offer to attend the game last night. Nice win and the Holmes Center can become a nice home venue if the program's success continues. However, I did have one major issue. The scoreboard was used for showing live video of the game (no repl...

It's all a matter of perspective: 10 Years ago the fan base would have enthusiastically welcomed this opportunity.

Re: OK you guys - BOOKMARK THIS THREAD
For whatever reason, this team just doesn't have the killer instinct of previous teams. We should have rolled Coastal and been up big at the half. We should have closed out UMass (picking up a 4th down conversion or getting a stop) prior to the game going to overtime. Today, we were up 3 and the def...

Re: This game
As I mentioned in another thread - this team is as good as any I have witnessed in 60+ years of football to Playing To The Level Of The Competition - up and down --- We have played "up" to the competition in exactly one game, if you want to call Wake that. Every other close game has been against fi...

Re: Injuries
If the players come in and play half a season of valuable time, there's nothing wrong in burning a redshirt. Experienced players are probably just as valuable as a redshirt with eligibility remaining. "Next Man Up" seems to be our battle cry this year! Williams went from not seeing the field, to bei...

Re: Magic
That's a positive angle. I would argue it's not really magic to dominate teams for a half or a quarter that we used to dominate for entire games. But yes, hope the team can start faster in future games. Point blank, the offense is not as good as it's been in previous years. Three first downs in a h...

Re: NMSU Gameday Chat
Three main things I took away from yesterday. 1. Whenever we play a Wake or a Miami in Boone the homecoming crowd suffers. I believe last year's homecoming crowd was light too. Unfortunately this is a problem across the majority of G5 football. 2. While Taylor did struggle, I blame his struggles mo...

i saw her on our drive in yesterday too. I noticed the NC State Gear, but she may have a kid there, so I'll give her a pass.

Well the students stayed and the crowd that stayed was loud! Kudos to all who stayed. And I gotta move my seats in 205 cause the guy sitting next to me is the most negative unhappy ( I CANT CALL HIM A FAN) attendeeIve ever been around. 3rd year of his mess is enough. What row are you on? I have sea...

Re: Why not?
Pizza... I'm totally in agreement with you! We choked on the decisions there at the end! Somewhere you have to lay it all on the line and go win a game! That's 2 huge games the last 2 years that we played it close to the vest, and neither turned out the right way! It's the play to win, rather than ...

Re: Texas St game
We need Meadors and Evans and we need Moore to return to his old form...not sure what's up with him so far this year. He's either injured or just isn't comfortable being the high-expectation guy. Upshaw certainly seems to be running harder and is more explosive at this point. Maybe it's time to fli...

Re: Texas St game
I really can' believe what I just saw. We let them drive 98 yards on us with the game on the line. Thank God they had to go 99. Should have not came to that, offense screwed this scenario up!! If Taylor doesn't extend the ball, we win by 10 or 14 points. D played pretty solid after the first quarte...

Re: Labor Day Look Back ---
Spot on once again Dude. I have seen several posts of bad secondary play but I didn't think that it was that bad. In fact, did Georgia even throw the ball to Duck's man? One thing that I will say about the kicking game is, while yes they only averaged around 38 yards, the were high punts that allow...

Re: QB play has to catch up
I just don't understand how people are so blind to this. The playcalling is vanilla because the coaching staff doesn't trust lamb to throw the ball. He missed several throw even yesterday that while probably don't change the outcome may have changed it a bit. And the only real pass he completed dow...

Re: BGP Postgame: UGA - Dawg Bite
I agree with Big Daddy. The vast majority of our P5 games have been against elite programs. Even Miami, although they have been down, was on the rise when we finally played. App will no longer sneak up on anyone. Everyone knew that the Tennessee game last year would have Georgia's attention. Regard...

Re: Central Michigan Kent St
Tuesday night games have been struggling with attendance issues for years. It's too hard on the alumni and even the students have other commitments. Plus, families with school aged kids are not going to show. It's merely selling your soul for exposure on the mother ship. Short term gain, long term d...

I don't think we've dialed it in, yet. But, it can be done well. https://twitter.com/DavidGlennShow/status/657350808409874432 Those saying "down with the piped in music" THIS is what you're taking away by taking away that music.
