Re: Official Bellhop prediction thread
I just hope our offense is on the field more than 18 minutes this week and that our defense can get off the field on 3rd downs. They were 10-18 on third down last week and converted 3 more fourth downs. I see another brutal week upcoming versus the triple-option and athletic quarterback. I hope I am...

Re: 2014 Sun Belt schedules
If we are playing at Troy I would assume that means South Alabama will be coming to Boone in 2014. Georgia Southern seems to think they will host us in 2014 if that is the case I'd expect Georgia State in Boone potentially.

Re: QB position
Here is another way to ask the question, "Who gives us the most UPSIDE?" As a senior with lots of game experience, do you think Jackson is going to raise his game anymore? As a Sophmore with limited real game experience, do you think Bryant is going to raise his game anymore? Ok, now which choice d...

Re: Defense
Until App got soft in the 4th quarter Elon only had 240 yards with 10 minutes left. We got soft too early but it happens with young players. 210 came in the last 8-10 minutes. We basically dropped into a prevent zone. The thing that continues to be my problem is not yardage but the fact that we have...

App should easily handle this team. We really won't know much about our team till the beginning of next month at the earliest.

Anything on Doug Middleton? He was awesome this spring and is not even starting on week one.
Glad to see the freshman have stepped up on defense to help this group out.

I am pretty sure there are still tickets available through Elon's website for this game. Hope it helps.

Re: Sean Price arrested?
Remember 4 games would be a good punishment for both sides.
Price takes a huge hit in his season stats and the team will win the 3 games after Montana with or without Mr. Price. If I was Jamal or another leader on this team I would sit him down. Just a thought.

Re: Sean Price arrested?
If the allegations hold up and he is guilty, I believe Sean should be suspended a minimum of 3 games but 4 would be fine. Two arrests/incidents in 18 months and he does not seemed to have learned anything for it.

Ordered my two tickets for Elon today. I am trying to convince some of my friends to come with me. Would love to pack out their stadium in black/gold one more time. Go APPS!

I really don't like playing Campbell, surely there is an average FCS team that would be willing to play us. Campbell is Savannah State bad.

Really should have played two yesterday. Both today and tomorrow don't look good at all weather wise. Lets hope the weathermen are wrong but if not we could potentially be 3 games played behind in conference.

Re: ole miss transfer
Agreed it is depth to push Henry Barnes and Gray at FS this fall. At worst he is a special teams player and backs up at safety. This way you do not have to burn an incoming freshman's redshirt this fall. I am very happy to have him and yet another player from the state of Florida. Keep up the good w...

Re: App State vs. Citadel
The main issue for Springs and I have noticed it the more I watch him pitch is the following. He has no out pitch. Sure he has a good fastball but a good fastball is not good enough to beat solid hitting at the collegiate level. His breaking ball always misses low and in to righties and low and away...

Re: Spring Game Roll Call
We are in trouble at QB. I know supposedly JJ and KB will be healthy. But both were limping today! I am NOT feeling good about this deal! Knee surgery doesn't make it better over night. I would be more worried about Kam Bryant than Jamal. Jamal should be fine by the time the season starts and fall ...

Re: Charlotte Scrimmage Roll Call
Glad to hear the running backs look solid. If the O-Line can do a solid job then our offense is in business. Good QB play, good TE's and an excellent WR corp. I am also interested for those of you who were there, who played LB (inside and outside)? Hearing good things about the Defensive Line is exc...

Re: Discussion with App alums
If I own stock in a company I get a vote. The more stock I own the more votes I get....If I don't own any.....all I get to do is complain. And with all due respect to the students do you think they are in a position (experience) to know what is best for the program? A student's perspective as many ...

Re: GSU Series
Marcelo in his last two home outings has been atrocious. The Cornell game and then today. I love Coach Jones and think he has done a great job but he needs to learn how to finish off games. Today he had the opportunity and he put in a guy (Marcelo) who is a headcase. We just cannot keep giving games...
