Re: JMU Game Day Thread
Fire Jones. Sick of his defense Not so fast there my friend....we lost nearly our whole defense..4 to NFL camps...that's got to hurt and it is showing in 3 games this year all but the A&M game. JMU is a good team as they've bolstered themselves with the portal. I hate losing, but we did beat oursel...

Re: Time To Beat Troy - Game Thread
We either need to make the NCAA take 3rd down out of the game or just let the other teams start at our ten yard line. It would save time.

Re: Time To Beat Troy - Game Thread
Looks like somebody looked at UNC game film. We need to run (almost) every play. Ball control and clock eating is our only hope. Third down defense is horrible and bend but don't break is broken. I hope we can turn it around in the second half but our defense is not ready to play AGAIN. This is gett...

Re: Coach Clark
Strength and conditioning and nutritionists and athletic trainers changed this game. We showed no signs of slowing down, ever. In that heat, that is absolutely incredible. APPsolutely. I was worried about that heat all week. Didn't notice any cramps or signs of fatigue at all on our side. Did notic...

Yes, Jeannie. I bought a lot of vinyl there. Great prices, great selection and a great location.appstanding wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 8:19 pmBought my copy of Rumours from School Kids Records on King Street. I'm thinking the owners name was Jeannie or something similar.

Re: Another haunt bites the dust
Things change, sometimes change is rough. I could do with a Yogi's turkey grinder, Buck's Biscuit, Holly Farms Taters, Mountain house breakfast, Chanelo's/Sollecito's pizza, Buzz City special right now. Time marches on, very little left from my time up there and that includes all the new buildings ...

Yeah, no Aubie V Bama on the list? Florida/Georgia; ole Miss/Hail State; Texas/A&M; Oklahoma/Texas; Florida/FSU
Ignoring some of the biggest rivals in college football doesn't look good.

Dang, I'm getting older and thought I had a lot of issues. Diabetes II, and some pretty bad arthritis, the last six inches of my spine looks like a snake on an xray. But after reading these posts, I'll stop complaining. Two of the greatest inventions of all time help a lot (Ibuprofen and Tylenol).

I'm extremely saddened to pass along that my mother has passed on this afternoon. Thank you to all from App Nation who were behind her in her fight. https://i.ibb.co/LJQvXL6/20220107-104130.jpg Very sad news. Re: Game week in Boca
We have gotten too predictable. That's on both sides of the ball. Look at our 3rd down defense this year, worst I can remember. Offense struggled at times too. Thinking we need to get bigger on the offensive line too. If we're going to run, we need guys that can plow some dirt. Teams are figuring ou...

Re: Traveling to Lafayette for CCG?
Glad to see some Lafayette folks here helping out. My son lives in Lafayette. Been a couple of times but not for a game. Can recommend Don's Specialty Meats for Chicken Cracklings (thank me later) and Boudin. It's a little north of town on the Evangeline Thruway, I think there is a second one just w...
