Re: GaSo fans in Boone

ESPN is making the Midweek games I assume. I am not sure ESPN would still replace GaSo with Troy or Ark St. I think we have one midweek game most every year sadly.

GaSo fans in Boone

Based on this post I suspect there may not be many GaSo fans in KBS. It appears a fan bus they planned to use has been cancelled, which I assume is due to lack of interest and it going from a fund-raiser to a money loser.

Re: NCAA to UNC: "It is our business"

Why is having a flagship important? What does that even mean? To further that point. How has App benefited from being associated with them other than them blocking new degrees and allocating a disproportionate amount of resources to themselves? Uh, I don't think the university leadership has any ha...

Re: Boone to Moscow

Unlike some teams, App doesn't have an 18-wheeler carrying equipment because they don't need one. Several Sun Belt teams have had their 18-wheeler drive all the way to Moscow. In 2014, South Alabama had theirs drive to Moscow, Idaho, then straight to Boone for the following week's game. The box tru...

First CMU game was MACtion. It seems the 2nd game was non-conference. Either way Apps win and are sitting in the middle of the MAC.

Appalachian IMG Sports Network

The 2017-2018 webpage has not been updated http://www.appstatesports.com/news/2015/8/1/1550007.aspx but I found myself on 600 WSJS earlier in the week and heard a promo for App Sports. WSJS used to cover NC State I believe, but now are airing App State games, at least football. I am just outside of ...

Re: GaSo Thursday procedures for classes

Can they just not schedule these one day a week classes on Thursday? What are the parameters, if any, that would preclude a one day a week class to be held on any of the other days? In most cases I bet that could happen. I had my 2nd Semester History classonce a week from 6-9 on Wednesday. Moving t...

Re: GaSo Thursday procedures for classes

It’s one afternoon a year. True, but some classes can not be done online and only meet once a week. Science labs for one and some do meet late at night- such as astronomy. I think the best solution is to not hold it against any professor or instructor that cancels class, especially if alternate act...

Re: GaSo Thursday procedures for classes

Will we have a protest this time? To be honest if classes are cancelled I would hope a protest would occur. At the end of the day App State is about education and learning. Even if the protest goes nowhere in changing policy I do think it is important to let those in charge be aware of the value of...

Re: GaSo Thursday procedures for classes

::Rant:: Unlike some would want/believe, the AD does not make academic decisions for this University. ::Rant:: I would call the Provost Office. They would be most in the loop about classes. It may be a Department by Department call. Good idea about the Provost office. They tend to be the final say ...
