Re: Reset

I agree with the above comments on SC improvements. I like what I have seen with all of those. Furthermore, we have had a different OC for last 5 yrs. I see improvements across the board and would like to see how some of SC's moves "gel" with some consistency in OC/DC roles. The offense is producing...

Re: Defense

Our defense is progressing very well. Before season I thought if our D could make substantial improvements this year then we would be a much better team. We are definitely on that track. I am super pleased with progress. After the ULM game I am disappointed. As I said prior to game, it looked like ...

Re: ULM

I saw where Bowden called us Appy State and Appalyshun. You know he did it on purpose because I guarantee he says it the right way in normal conversation. He’s from Georgia, not Vermont. So is it wise for Bowden to talk trash to App State? I don't know about others but I want to see our boys go dow...

Re: ULM

Here is huge point about the level of our SBC competition. Does anyone believe that the SBC teams in 2014-2019 is anywhere near what we have in last 3 years? Especially the last two years with newest additions? The SBC is absolutely much stronger top to bottom than when Satt and Drink coached here. ...

Re: Wyoming Post-Game

IMO, this year's team is not the same team that played in the last two years. I am seeing a lot of positives with this team and only time will tell but I have much more hope that this team will continue to improve as the season goes on. Just a point, wasn't UNC zero for 6 (or something like that) in...

Re: ULM

Joey Aguilar did not lose that game. That's a terrible take. His two boneheaded decisions that were his and his alone cost us the game. There is a lot of finger pointing that should be done, the majority of them need to be pointed directly between his ears. I'm all for learning from your mistakes, ...

Re: Wyoming Post-Game

I think we are all proving the point that we are sitting around thinking and thinking about what could have been in that moment but we all have the luxury of time and analysis of what actually did happen vs what may happen. On the last drive and at that moment decisions had to be made quickly withou...

Re: Wyoming Post-Game

I have rewatched that last play several times now and Noel was anything but clear of line even as ball went over his head and certainly did not appear to be an option when JA had to make a decision. Remember we lined up with no time outs and JA had to make a split second decision and all of these fa...

Re: Wyoming Post-Game

Here is another angle/consideration to take into account. We all know and agree that statistically the longer you have to drive the less percentage success you have of scoring or scoring TD vs FG. Its exponentially harder the further you have to go. App Drive 1: starting at 25, 67 yrds, FG Drive 2: ...

Re: Wyoming Discussion

On the replay I saw, there were two defensive players coming at JA fast and almost in his face as he released. He didn't have any time to wait. He tried to get it out, which was the right thing to do. He was back peddling to avoid blitz. He has as much arm strength as you will see in QB but due to t...

Re: Wyoming Post-Game

The thing I cannot get past is the complete domination. If the game was statistically even and had been evenly matched on the field then yeah, I can see saying a couple of fluke plays turned the tide. But you absolutely cannot lose a game where you were so completely dominant on both sides of the b...

Must not be any good games this weekend. ND just lost.
ND lost to higher ranked #6 team by 3. No disgrace there. What were the supposed to do?

Re: Wyoming Post-Game

My opinion is we squandered away a win against Wyoming. That being said…when I step away from the disappointment of that game and look at our team these are my thoughts. Our Defense continues to improve game by game. I really like the progress I see and could be the best product we have seen in many...

Forgive me for my Risk Management background, but that looks like a disaster waiting to happen.
Capt Ed you have a boat for your mime. How often do people have accidents on boating outings? I hear about them all the time yet people are not deterred.

Just tongue and cheek point

Re: Miller hill

Accidents will happen no matter what you do to try to prevent them. How many games have been played over the years with crowds on the hill? I'd have to think that as a percentage the number of serious injuries is very low. From my seat in 202 the student section below us and the hill looked amazing...

I heard Avery say on the App-ECU broadcast that it usually takes 15-20 carries just to get the RB lathered up to do his best work.

If one wants to cure fumble-itis use the Tiki Barber "school of how not to fumble". He fumbled quite a bit early in NFL career. Took a lot of work in off-season..but he did it. Hate it for Kanye. That young man is a gifted running back no matter what plays they called for him. Back in the late 80's...

Watching App-Wyoming on CBSSports with firestick

Does anybody know for sure if we will be able to watch the App-Wyoming game on the CBS Sports App on Firestick/Roku Saturday? Since game is on CBSSN does that mean it will be available on CBS Sports App? Has anyone used it for other Mountain West games in past and know for sure it it works live? Jus...
