The Ivy League would survive without them.

Re: Cabral to WVU (Eric McDaniel is replacement)
Do we pay that much more for a lat move, or is this a case of the new guy putting his own staff together? It appears that he wasn’t asked to join Sumrall at Tulane nor was he retained by the new coach. As it was explained to me, the number one job for any assistant coach is to stay employed. The pa...

Re: September 7, 2024
Except for losing the game me and my crowd had a great time at the last Clemson game. We went out in Greenville the night before and didn’t encounter any obnoxious fans and the Clemson fans we ran into at the tailgate treated us really good. We’re planning on going back this year.

Re: Unlimited transferring is coming
There are approximately 11,000 D1 players every season (130 teams x 85 scholarships)- ignoring the walk-on guys. Of that number how many are getting significant NIL money? I don't know what would count as significant, maybe $100k per? Is this public knowledge? Every scholarship player on Utahs team...

Re: Unlimited transferring is coming
I think this could contribute to more parity as really good players won't want to ride the pine at the big boy schools. You could see a huge percentage of those rosters turning over every year. I agree. The numbers don’t change. There are only so many spots on a roster for scholarship players. Whil...

Re: Unlimited transferring is coming
When more and more people lose interest and the cash cow goes away the big money will try to fix the issue. But college sports may have gone the way of NASCAR by then. I’ve only missed a handful of App home games in the last 25 or so years and I’m starting to get tired of the transfer and NIL crap a...

Re: 2024 Roster Updates
We have three guys in Clark, Hopper and Kelly. DDP can also play some snaps if needed. Plus you have Kendall Farmer coming in although he will likely RS. DL, or NT isn’t a need given where we are with scholarships. Now if someone drops in our lap then you rethink that allocation. Help me out, how i...

Re: 2024 Roster Updates
What about the D Line? Lost some and have not added any for spring enrollment. We lost 3 but only 1 of those played last year. McKnight and White didnt play, Spellman did. You're right though. DL needs to add some strength and weight or we need a couple additions to the interior...or both. If we do...

Re: we got a QB transfer from Texas
I like what his former teammate said about him, hard worker. looks like worst case scenario we got a guy who will push the players in front of him and be an all around good teammate. Especially in today’s environment there is no substitute for a good culture. It at least sounds like this young man w...

Re: Keep Joey 2024 - NIL
NIL will turn college athletics into even more of the have’s and have not’s. Afraid we will fall into the second bucket and will be raided every offseason. Yes we can pick up transfers but only what well funded NIL programs don’t want. I doubt we have many fans willing to send hard earned money to ...

Re: Willie Nelson 90th Birthday Special
Willie can still do it. I have seen him when he didn’t do much more than start a song and let his band finish but I have also seen him be great. 2 or 3 years ago I went to see him and he just couldn’t do it that night. He came out 3 times only to get frustrated and cancel the show. But before he lef...

Re: Cure bowl vs Miami (OH)
Let 20 schools form their own semi pro league and let the other 110 play real college football with good conferences, nice regional rivalries and then an 8 team playoff. This is exactly what I hope evolves. If it does evolve this way I think the 20 “semi pro” teams are going to be very surprised by...
