Re: Worst loss in the history of Appalachian football
Step away from the ledge...........it's one game in one season. Since 1969 I've been up to the mountain and down several times. as has the program. Nothing sustains a straight up trend withough some bumps. We are in a very good place for the next leg up. May not be this year but I feel better than I...

"The Higher you climb the flagpole the more people can see your ass" -Don Meredith MNF I'd say the higher we climb the flagpole the more asses show up.............. Perspective............. Even Notre Dame, Texas and LSU have bad years...... Listen we could be Wake Forest or South Carolina......or M...

Re: YOSEF team entrance
How about this:
My name is XXXX, Class of 2001 currently serving in Afganistan and " WELCOME TO THE ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Or seeing Cadet in his Saints uniform, Cory in his chargers, Kilgore in his 49'ers AE in his Panthers............. doing this
I get pumped just thinking about it.

Re: YOSEF team entrance
I have this vision of a real Yosef with a real gun coming out on the porch of a small house located somewhere in the stadium area, and after we have a video of former players like Armanti saying "Welcome to the rock" shooting the real gun after waving the crowd into a frenzy and then the team rolls ...

Re: Band in the Endzone
Yeah, I took the time to count and give or take a few was around 150 plus 25 flag people.
100 more horns and drums ( no woodwinds please and I played clarinet) will make a big difference. They looked like they enjoyed being in the seats and appeared more engaged.

Re: Band in the Endzone
I'm glad that no instruments were damaged as some feared.........The sound will get louder when we get back to 250 or so band members. Exscluding flag people I only saw about 150 band members. It was a perfect place for them and I took time to thank many of them after the game while they were scarff...

Re: Our fans treatment of visiting team fans
Sorry to hear about the frat guys acting like asses...but I know they were not my frat guys. Us old alumni frat guys had a chat with our undergrads and suggested certain types of behaviors were not to be seen. We invited a bunch of Montana people walking through the stadium lot to eat and drink with...

Re: Out of Top 10 for First Time Since 2005
The bad calls aside, if the ECU QB didn't overthrow their receivers the score could have been worse. I'm concerned about pressure on the QB and our pass defense. the top ten thing menas nothing to me in a system that has a playoff. Our goal is to get in and wins on the field will determine the ranki...

Transfers for us are a bit of a desperation move for Capel. If we have all guards we better run and press the whole game.

Re: Need your help on Fox vs. Armanti
Don't read too much into this. Fox was an ass his last year and I could make a case on circumstantial evidence alone that he was not going to go along wiht JR and MH because he didn't get a contract. So passively he did everything from not helping develop AE to calling draws and swing passes on 3rd ...

Cut Survival
It appears that only DJ has been cut through the first round. Cadet, Presley, AE, LeGree and Lynch have survived. Of course Kilgore was in no danger. Maybe Seattle will want another short QB who can't play the position to back up Wilson? I am predicting that AE will turn in a big game against the St...
