Re: The Carolina Way (Cont'd)
There is a very simple way to handle this. Send EVERYONE through the same admission procedure. Hide the fact that they play a sport. If they can't get in as a student then they can't get in. What a great incentive to start paying attention to school in middle school and high school. We have many at...

Just my .02, but the games being on thursday don't concern me nearly as much as them being in consecutive weeks. Even with my concern, this schedule still looks amazing.

How did the town/county get the land for the new high school?
Throw in the current soccer complex, too.

Probably North Greenville University. Greenville, NC, high schools are Conley and Rose.TheMoody1 wrote:Greenville, NC?
EDIT: It looks like there is a North Pitt HS in the county, but not North Greenville.

I like victory yosef. However, I don't really care as long as the logo looks like a hand-drawn cartoon-type character. In my opinion, there's nothing more stale and generic than those computer-generated lookin' vector logos like the one we recently moved past. My personal favorite is the "Mountainee...

That whole thing made season 5 of The Wire incredibly relevant.

Notably missing from the list is UNC-Chapel Hill. Additionally, Brevard and Louisburg are not on the list. Others are probably also missing.

Re: What's on your KBS dream list?
I would like a personal hobbit hole in the hill with a private front porch with a rope ladder leading up to a small tree house village connected via bridges all overlooking the field for mile high parties. If none of that is possible I would would settle for some good Q and cups with ice. I was jus...

They are already larger than UNC-Chapel Hill. Hell, we aren't far off of UNC-CH's enrollment. I'll let you google the undergrad enrollment numbers.BTK2000 wrote:From their board

Re: UNC BOG Intercollegiate Athletics report
I would hope they get NO vote when it comes to admissions. The university should have a standard that no coach can over ride. A university like ASU should NEVER let athletics become more important than academics. Someone in academic administration should be held accountable for our problems in BB. ...

I would hope their vote counts twice. Otherwise, what are they doing recruiting a kid just to have admission denied.bcoach wrote:Well the coaches don't have final say as to who gets admitted so who is really responsible for our mess.

Pricing is the big one, if cutting down on mini bottles is the concern. They can't charge more than the combined cost of a mini and a pepsi, which comes with the cup and ice.

Re: Viewing in Huntersville\Cornelius question
That was a frustrating night. I was there with a big group after being on the lake all day. When they finally put the radio on we couldn't really hear so we went on the patio and backed the car up so we could hear the radio. Then we wondered why we were even there and left lol I found out later tha...

Re: Viewing in Huntersville\Cornelius question
If it is possible to get the game, it will be on at the Cornelius location. As far as So. Miss goes, I got the impression they would have added dish, had it been communicated that OTA or dish would be the only ways to watch. I also prefer the character and setup of the Vermillion location, but at le...
