Re: Arkansas State vs. Georgia State
This is the ugliest game I've watched all year. Just terrible.

Re: Bowl Tickets--Pre-Order
This is a major metric when it comes to bowl selection, reserve tickets, especially to the New Orleans Bowl.

Re: Would Satt go to
I'd be more worried about NC State. If they finish flat again this year I could see DD gone. That job would pay much more than we could, be in a very winnable conference, and bring him closer to Orange county (maybe family is still there?). But I think that job only opens up if State finishes poorl...

2006 defense points per game was under 15 and no one scored over 28 on them.

Re: First choice for Bowl game opponent
We really don't have any history to suggest the conference champion would go to the Camellia or Cure bowl. This is the Camellia Bowl's third year and Cure Bowl's second year as bowls. The conference champions has always been selected by either the NO or at the time GoDaddy Bowl and I expect that to ...

Re: First choice for Bowl game opponent
If we win the SBC I truly believe NO or DG take us.
If we don't win the SBC and USA is bowl eligible I think we're headed to the Cure.
If we don't win the SBC and GS is bowl eligible, but USA isn't then we're headed to the Camellia.

Re: First choice for Bowl game opponent
It's like going on vacation, you enjoy going to the NC/SC beach you always go to with the family each year, but your preference is to try a new place perhaps in Florida, Gulf Shores, etc. I enjoyed the Camellia bowl and wouldn't mind going back in a couple years (and I'll gladly go this year as well...

Re: First choice for Bowl game opponent
I agree. NO should go to the champ, good location and date. I'd like to see the Cure bowl pick ahead of Camellia as well. If App wins SBC NO - Ark St DG - App Camellia - Troy Cure - USA Arizona - Idaho If we don't win SBC: NO - Troy DG - Ark St Camellia - USA Cure - App Arizona - Idaho I don't think...

I'd like to thank our moderators for building a culture on this site that we can have constructive discussion about our team and the players we support 100%. SBC Lines in the Sand
Ark St. -2 @ GA St. - This line has me baffled, vegas must know something I don't. Load up on Ark St. Red Wolves lose the turnover battle by two and still win by 14. 31-17. Texas St. +31.5 @ App, App by as many as Satt allows, but wait Withers is an App alum, Texas St scores an Idaho type TD to cove...

Re: Ga State vs South Ala
Arkansas State will not win out. People say that about us every year. We put up horrific OOC results, struggle against conference teams we shouldn't struggle with, there's no reason we could ever beat one of the leagues top teams. Yet we seem to always have success against league favorites We do it...

Re: At Least one poll/ranking has us Top 25
I think we have a lot of people saying the same thing. Troy and App are both pretty good teams. Troy is probably better on offense than App and vice versa on defense.
Let's both take care of business this weekend, if we do that game is going to be BIG.

Re: We just smacked Georgia Southern in Statesboro
That scheme of quick passes is trouble for our defense. Lamb must improve and our WRs must catch the balls to take the next step as a team. The first INT was a combination of Lamb throwing slightly high and to the side of a RB playing WR. It wasn't a bad pass, but I wouldn't call it a good one eithe...

Re: We just smacked Georgia Southern in Statesboro
Defense played lights out and our oline just wore GS out. Our passing game continues to struggle outside of Meadors. Our defense works when we get pressure and they did that last night. Troy has given up one sack all year and have a big RB they like to run up the gut. To beat Troy we'll have to scor...
