Re: Recruiting, 2013

I have updated the 2013 page showing SF Christian Hairston (6′ 7″ 185) of Greensboro Day School in Greensboro, NC in the "Considering" section until he makes his decision. I will update as news comes.

Re: Recruiting, 2014

The 2014 Basketball page is now updated as of today (4-2-13) and each of the reported 7 offers we have out have pages built for them with videos and all the information I could find. We'll update the page and thread as needed.

Re: Old Mountain Jug

Moose, What do you think about the jug? I have mixed emotions about it. I definitely don't want it to be destroyed. If that were even to come up I would pull it's twin out of storage, paint it myself, and give that one to them. The original is personal to me since my grandfather, father, and mother...

App State still in the running for 6-7 guard Christian Hairston of Greensboro Day School, according to the News & Record of Greensboro. http://www.news-record.com/blogs/982103-87/greensboro-days-hairston-considering-five I saw that last week but hadn't added him to the list yet. asumike and I were ...

Re: [New Article] App State to announce new gold football fi

Actually it looks pretty good especially compared to all the others. Oh I agree. T did a great job. I saw it the second he posted it last night/this morning. I added my post to "poke the hornet's nest" a little minutes later. The first twitter post came up at 12:32 am and they've been coming ever s...

Re: [New Article] App State to announce new gold football fi

The funny thing is that Cobb and Peacock might have to hold a presser to squelch this :D

I counted over 200 tweets just on my search engines in the last 12 hours talking about it and many of them seemed to believe it.

Re: [New Article] App State to announce new gold football fi

I heard this mentioned a few weeks ago but I thought it was a joke since we just had the turf replaced so I didn't ask any more questions. I figured they had better places to spend the money in the stadium and if they were going to replace anything it would be when they put the new conference logos ...

Re: Louisville-Duke

When you saw the injury.....how many of you sang the kit kat jingle?? Don't be shy! Give me a break, give me a break... break me off a piece of that kit kat bar. I can tell you that I wasn't singing. An injury like that ended my football playing days. And 25+ years later I still have problems come ...

Re: ASU T&F finish 2nd

Funny that big, bad ECU from the CUSA/Big East/America 12 lost to both App and WCU. Bet that's a long ride back to Greenville. Should be something ECU is used to by now. I'm pretty sure the Mountains have beaten the Beach every year since the event started. :D Yeah..I knew it. I was just get...

Re: WKU to cusa Monday

Moose, I have thought for a long time that eventually, even with GIANT egos in play, regional conferences will HAVE to be established by those not in a "super conference" to, as Terry Holland said, "put butts in the seats" at the games. Regional rivalries are vital to college football. I don't know...

Re: WKU to cusa Monday

Interesting decision. ECU and Tulsa leaving and UNCC and ODU entering is not a real good tradeoff, especially UNCC (until they prove themselves on the field). The decision was made a while ago. One would have thought that they would have looked at who was leaving and who was coming in but I really f...

Re: Mike Ayers take on App/GSU leaving

If Ayers has any sense of what is truly happening in the college football world he has to know that the FCS is dying a slow and painful death and given that Wofford has no chance to move up that their only choice will be to move down. Moves like what we and GaSou have done just emphasize that point...

Considering the torches and pitch forks after him, probably a local Republican.
You already have seen it but Robinson is as far from a Republican as you can get. ;)
