Re: Coaching Addage
YC’s hottest club is this thread. This place has everything: cliches, beating a dead horse, a misspelling, starting a new thread for no reason... But of course it wouldn't be complete without an a-hole to chime in with negativity. If you don't like or don't care about the topic, don't click it. Lif...

Re: Good article on Coach Satterfield and recruiting
The man gave 25 years of his life to APP State - most likely more than anyone on this board - don't understand the negative attitudes toward him???????????? I, for one, WVAPPeer have not intentionally made a disparaging remark about him. He left us twice, but I would not be surprised if way in the ...

Re: WCU wbb
With all the derision slammed at Wester Carolina University on here, why should we care who they hire or not hire? 1) Because she was an assistant at App previously. 2) Because WCU was a rival of ours for years, even if they're no longer a "competitor" in football, wins over them will always matter...

There is some uncertainty with a new head coach, graduation, and some new assistants, etc but I share your gut feeling, 09.

Re: Good article on Coach Satterfield and recruiting
Coach Satterfield left us for greener pastures (i.e. green back dollars) and took some of our assistants with him. Let's wish him and his program well and stop it at that. We're not Cardinals, we're Mountaineers. He no longer is.

Re: Evans on Phil Steele cover!!!
So I went out to my local Barnes & Noble here in Richmond VA to pickup the '19 Phil Steele mag this evening. The cover featured predictable players from Clemson, Bama, Michigan, and Georgia. I bought it without looking and brought it home. When I got home a few minutes ago and took it out of the ba...

Coaching Addage
The most important game of the season is the next one on the schedule. If memory serves me correctly, that's East Tennessee State University. Go Apps!

Re: ETSU picks up Miami QB
He was a three star recruit out of college, redshirted then this past season saw very few snaps. I'm not worried. Don't ever use stars as an argument for or against a player. Dexter Coakley- 0 stars, Brian Quick- 0 stars, DJ Smith- 0 stars, Armanti Edwards- 2 stars, etc. There are some great player...

Black block A...so don't expect to win. All jokes aside, I just voted. Much better chance compared to the white :D When the Black Block A makes the cover of Sports Illustrated, then we'll talk  Yep. I still have that SI issue. The white block A didn't make the cover, beating Michigan did...and...

Bruins were on offense most of the game and Blues got very few shots on goal.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 5:22 pmOutplayed them and were down 4-0 before the late goal with the extra attacker? Admittedly I didn’t watch the whole game, but that seems like a stretch.

Stanley Cup
Anyone else watch the Stanley Cup Championship game the other night? The Bruins out played the Blues but lost anyway. The Blues' goalie should have been MVP. Blues had an interim coach who took over when they were in last place and took them to the Stanley Cup. Rookie goalie saved the game. After wa...
