Re: Up Next...UNC

Do I think we can beat them? Yes. Is it going to be a shootout like last year? I don't think so. I think it'll be closer to 2019 if we play a damn good game.

Re: Spectrum and ESPN and ACC Network

I have the Big 10, SEC, ACC, and PAC-12 Networks with Hulu Live TV. I also have ESPN+ through the Disney Plus Bundle, so no issues year round when it comes to that stuff.

I think we found our QB folks.
I want to see how he does starting at UNC. Might be a completely different feel (in a positive way), especially if the playbook is far more than the basics we see now.

And back to weird and/or conservative play calling... let Aguilar throw!!!
I just said to my girlfriend....and here we go playing to not lose.....
I miss the consistent dynamic offenses, so hopefully we see that after this game.

Re: Davidson Wildcat Rebrand

I liked the old one more, just because it was more uniquely theirs.

People need to stop hiring “expert design firms” that make generic logos.

Re: PAC-12 melt down

I can’t imagine PAC would want every school in the AAC. I imagine Navy going back to indie than be in a coast-to-coast conference. If I had to guess, the four schools I’d pick are long-standing AAC members west of the Mississippi. Maybe Wichita State , SMU, Tulsa, and Tulane. Wichita State has not ...

Is the “P5” status gone? I would have to assume so.
I thought PAC would still be considered one of the autonomous conferences until the NCAA bylaws were changed?

Maybe to the media that’ll change, but they’ll still have the benefits of greater autonomy.

Re: PAC-12 melt down

Eff them all. Just detach athletics programs from the schools and form a NFL minor league and be done with it. They can still call it college football. Schools can still "sponsor" a team with their logo and name usage getting a cut of profits. Let's just move on from all this and be done. These rea...

Re: ACC - Short article/Must read

Exactly this. Until ESPN upped the payouts and added 4 schools, we were trying to figure out how to make the dollars work to move up to AAC. ESPN had to up the ante to make it the right option for us (and others). They cornered the market with smaller markets but actually have a fan base in the Sun...

Re: No tailgate spots for students this season

Why don't recent grads donate? 1. They're all paying off student loan debt 2. They make very little money...and with the ever rising cost of living and stagnant wage growth donating to the Yosef Club is not near the top of the list of priorities. Hear me Boomers...pay the young people 3. Its not we...

Re: ACC - Short article/Must read

I understand the offer was made. The Belt responded by making App the "center" of the conference and by adding MU and SM making the Belt, stronger than the AAC. Exactly this. Until ESPN upped the payouts and added 4 schools, we were trying to figure out how to make the dollars work to move up to AA...

Re: ACC - Short article/Must read

I’ve always felt App was more a Big 12 type school than an ACC school, but if we’re gonna get the P5 money/network/exposure, I don’t really care between either conference

Re: Spring Ball

I'd like to see a list of NILs for APP Football, I have no clue as to where that stands but my guess it's closer to being slim and rank in the have nots rather than what we'd hope. Give the middle finger to the NCAA rather than your alma mater. He's still giving and supporting App. Athletics or not...

Re: Rules Changes to Shorten CFB Games?

I agree with Chase, cut the commercial time outs. Unfortunately, while the games will shorten, the commercial time slots increase. I think there are ways to update officiating that can help reduce time as well, especially with instant replays. Letting the clock run after 1st down and incomplete pas...

Re: USFL Draft

Does this mean he had to commit to the USFL and thus won't be available for the NFL draft? Based on the below, it seems like the team holds the rights to that player until a contract can be/can't be negotiated, so he technically could still be available. He just might not have a spot in the USFL if...

Re: SDSU Headed to Pac 12?

Unrelated to expansion talks, but I would've liked to do a football H&H with San Diego State. Quality brand and program that I think fans would be interested to see, both teams frequently among the best in G5, and a great road trip for App fans. I've been in Southern California since I graduated in...
