Re: Zac Gone
He held the line for us and kept us a winning program. I wish him nothing but the best, I thank him for helping make App a household name and wish him the best in the NFL where hopefully he's given a fair shake by a team who believes in him as much as we did.

Re: Myrtle Beach Bowl game thread
Not a bad year. Being undefeated in bowl games since we've been allowed to play in them is a nice feather in the hat regardless. Hopefully next year we can keep it up. I think the team really missed having the fans behind them, I bet that would have helped a lot in those close games, especially how ...

Re: Myrtle Beach Bowl game thread
Maybe we should give Army a call and see if they want a go at it. We've got a reputation of being able to handle triple option teams.

Meanwhile a 9-2 Army team is getting the shaft while a 2-8 USC gets to go bowling.
I get it's 2020 and bowls have pre-existing arrangements with conferences but that's just a joke. UTEP has a better record.

Re: Sun Belt Game Cancelled
Well I guess that takes care of all the concern about the infrastructure turnaround for our game. It sucks, both teams could have made this a classic...wish they could reschedule it.

The logo is fine, looks like it belongs to a P5 conference.

Re: Myrtle beach bowl according to twitter
And just like that, app state is irrelevant to espn yup. which is why we should not be rooting for coastal. they have already surpassed us in the eyes of the media in one year. App (and to a lesser extent the Stink) paved the groundwork for making this conference not be the laughing stock of the FB...

And just like that, app state is irrelevant to espn Well, next time we have an opportunity to beat ranked opponents on back-to-back weeks we'll seal the deal. This is Coastal's and Louisana's year...we still have an undefeated bowl record to defend...whether we're playing Northern Texas or Texas A&M.

Re: Myrtle beach bowl according to twitter
I'm wondering how much Covid factors into this decision. Conway isn't that far away from App compared to Mobile, Montgomery, New Orleans or Orlando, so maybe geographic reasons is why we're playing in it.
Either way, lets just go and take care of business and prove once again SBC > CUSA

Re: Myrtle beach bowl according to twitter
SBC's Facebook account confirms it's us versus North Texas in the MB Bowl on 12/21. Not exactly what I wanted but frankly we had two chances to compete in a better bowl (and probably become ranked in the process) which we didn't seal the deal on so oh well. Let's keep our undefeated bowl streak alive.

Those poor Cajuns...getting off the bus must be like that scene in Cool Runnings when the team is about to leave the Calgary Airport.

Re: Zac Thomas health update thread
Per WSJ: - Thomas is okay, hospital trip was just precautionary, all things came back negative and is back at the field house. Currently day-to-day - Harrington is out for "an extended period of time." - Huff seems okay but is questionable against Coastal - Cooper should be back for Coastal https://...

Ga State played well on D. I am wondering if the vanilla offense today may have been some sandbaging before next week? On the other hand it has not been a lights out offense most of the season. They'll have to click next week to be competitive. Defense will have their hands full keeping us in the g...

Then if all stays the same, Coastal's got Liberty as their final game of the regular season. That's going to be interesting too.

Man Coastal steamrolled Georgia State. If we keep winning and they keep winning that 11/21 game is going to be on ESPN proper.
