Re: SunBelt Schedule

I wonder if schools are still lobbying for the schedules they want and if that would be taken into consideration at this point. I will take the answer you provided. Maybe they are trying to corral APP into another two Thursday night games on ESPNU to compete against CUSA on ESPN2 in same time slot....

Re: 2016 OOC Schedule..JUST FOR FUN PEOPLE

I think it safe to say this is the toughest schedule we will have ever faced. The first four games will really test us. In addition, we go to Statesboro, Troy, and Lafayette. We could be better and yet have a record that falls short of this year. If we were to match this year's record, then we would...

Re: Peach bowl 2016

Tennessee has been on the upswing so a loss there I don't think would be unfogivable. However we'd need to run the table and take out Miami for any sort of consideration...and more than likely run the table with the conference as well...with, if I am assuming that stAte isn't on the schedule and Tx...

Re: Peach bowl 2016

A 10-2 record for the Apps in '16 is sorta like trying to hit a small, moving target that's 200 yards away. We've got a bunch of holes to fill on both sides of the line and on special teams. Even if we have redshirts that are ready to step in; they'll do so without ever having played a snap of coll...

It hurt to lose Chapman but there is no way to be so definitive about winning that game.

Re: Charlie Cobb was right ---

My dad and I were having this exact conversation the other day. I have always thought the top FCS programs could compete with any of the G5. This year, our guys bested one of the better MAC teams and destroyed what turned out to be be a competitive CUSA team in ODU and a bottom rung MWC squad while...

Looks like Southern has a decent crowd there far better than we likely would have done.
