NC State wouldn't surprise me, considering the new coaching connection.

Yes, I know they’re plenty of teams with tigers and devils and the what not but there’s never been a griz in the area.

Re: At Tennessee this weekend
Let me share a little perspective with the "MMB Bridge-jumpers": 1) We don't fund or offer the full 11.7 scholarships a D1 baseball program is allowed to offer! 2) We're starting 3-4 true freshmen! Imagine if our football program started all freshmen on defense! Would you expect them to compete aga...

Re: At Tennessee this weekend
I'm not expert but I can read a box score. It says we scored no runs on 9 hits in 3 games. Enlighten me on what I don't know and explain how Kermit Smith will be the best coach ever at App. I'm hopeful that UT is a top flight SEC team this year after failing to make the conference tournament the la...

 People with no knowledge of the game see a box score and are now ready to comment like experts. Fact: Kermit Smith is the best coach on App's campus. Opinion: He could end up being the best one ever. (Better than Jerry, Mack, Bobby and Chris). Um, no! Either you can hit a 94 mph fastb...

Re: Admissions Advice
Retaking the SAT if her score is <1100 is her best option for Fall admission. Time is running out though. Other options include staff/faculty and Board of Trustees letter of recommendations.

Re: NO Bowl vs DG Bowl vs Camellia Bowl
I don't think the Dollar General Bowl should be a part of the conversation. Comparing the other two I think the advantages of the Camellia Bowl are the disadvantages of the NO Bowl and vice versa: Camellia Bowl Pros: Driveable from NC Stadium size is a better fit for the number of fans attending Eve...

Re: Kerwin Bell for Head Coach ?
My skepticism is with any of these new accounts who have rolled into the MMB this week spouting "facts" and "must dos". I have no knowledge of this coach or whether or not he's a viable candidate, I'll let DG do that. But what I don't like is a new guy rolling in with all the answers and acting like...

This may be off topic, but some of these points about Scott's professional and personal choices got me wondering: I was born in Boone. My first formal education was at Lucy Brock. I went to Harden Park and graduated from Watauga. I have undergraduate and graduate degrees from Appalachian. I met the...

Re: Satt Deal
Where did you find the press conference Boone Goon? I watched it on the local TV station's feed, but here it is on Youtube I'm just now watching this. Have any of you looked at the faces of the kids and Beth? They don't want to be there. They won't be happy going through 3-9 or 4-8 seasons. Not win...
