Re: I got lucky, then unlucky
Regarding ticket conflicts, I witnessed an interesting exchange at the game on Saturday. There was a student arguing with a seat attendant about section 114. I believe they were recently student section seats, however, the attendant was stating that they are now ticketed seats and was not letting a...

Re: Student Tailgate
Out of the ~20 or so Greek organizations, I can guarantee that less than half will set up on Sanford. It was a logistical nightmare a few years back getting gear out there for a philanthropy event on a Wednesday night. I can only imagine the difficulty on a Gameday morning in Boone. Fact is, student...

Re: Baker Mayfield of the SunBelt
Like it or not - the ends do justify the means. This isn’t a popularity contest. Brady and Belichick have skirted the integrity line numerous times, but in reality they will both go down as legends. That is but one of the countless other examples of guys who are abrasive in their respective sport, b...

Re: Official Fall Camp thread
The point is that with the first new coach from outside the program since Jerry Moore, you'd think App would want to put more information out there, not less. From a marketing stand point it doesn't make sense, and from a fan excitement standpoint (not the good ol' boys club) it doesn't make sense....

Re: Official Fall Camp thread
Almost all P5 programs I've checked including Miami and NC State have daily practice updates. On top of that the local papers have access for interviews and publish good information about the state of the team in camp. We do things differently now. No sense in complaining about it because it isn't ...

WCU is in a similar geographic and facility situation from what I’m aware of and was able to produce a PGA level talent in JT Poston.

Re: Shooting at UNC Charlotte
The problem is so much deeper than limiting access to guns and instituting effective preventative measures. Limit guns? You’ll see more cars speeding through crowded sidewalks etc.. There are endless means for committing what seems to be a motive-less crime. How can we stay one step ahead of it when...

Re: SB MGolf Tournamentsun belt
BGC is a great course and holds a special place in my heart, but it’s a painfully short track for players who can bomb it and doesn’t provide great preparation for championship courses around 7000 yards. Not to mention the lack of an adequate range. The cards are stacked against our men’s golf progr...

Re: MBB: Welcome Coach Dustin Kerns
Fox had *0 seasons of HC success, yet it seemed to be a sexy hire because he was associated with Steph Curry and a “decently” legendary coach in Mckillop. If Kerns would have had 3 more seasons of 20+ wins at PC you people would be up DG’s ass for not hiring him now. I respect his decision for pulli...

Mike Anderson dismissed at Arkansas. No chance he’d come to Boone, but 40 minutes of hell would be a fun brand of basketball to get behind.
