Re: Sr. and Jr. JUCO WRs?
Looks like Lewis is out too. I guess we will see Barbour and Hopkins grow up some on Saturday. However we still have Bobo and Sims (although he may be limited to prevent further injury). Also, it will likely be raining and will probably see a heavy dose of running like last Saturday with an occasion...

Re: Looking at Wyoming
So, whats the word on Jaquil Capel? I saw on twitter where people were wishing him a speedy recovery. Hopefully its nothing to big, for his sake.
On a side note, I think we get back McGuire this weekend.

Re: App and Boise State
Agreed, not really sure why this is such a big topic. Do i think we need to do it in a smart, cost effective, multi phased way? Of course! But it needs to be done. As I mentioned earlier, if we can get one mid-tier P5 school to come most years, it will help with cost. Plus, stop talking about recrui...

Re: App and Boise State
Here is my 2 cents about stadium expansion. Now, I'm not saying huge, just a solid 30 "actual seats" and slightly upgraded facilities. First of all, IMO, it will help draw slightly larger schools. Not huge, but more Wake Forest/Duke's....etc. If we can get just one larger home game a year, people wi...

Re: App and Boise State
I think we need to pump the breaks on the whole Boise State thing. First and foremost we need to schedule a game with ECU and beat them. They have done a good job of scheduling mediocre ACC teams and beating them to gain recognition. For example, the VT game yesterday was "impressive", but that VT t...

Re: Comin' to Appalachia!!
Personally I think the food thing is generational. I think DBI was one of the only things in Boone in the 70-80s. While some of the younger posters lived in Boone with many more ties to restaurants and tried to stay away from DBI because of tourists.

Re: Comin' to Appalachia!!
Nothing terrible about DBI, there are just too many non touristy way better restaurants in Boone. If you're looking for breakfast go Melanie's or sunrise. The best thing about DBI is their takeout which is about 8 bucks.

Re: Comin' to Appalachia!!
Welcome. Do not go to Daniel Boone Inn, way too touristy and overpriced for what the food is. Boone is filled with excellent places to eat....Our Daily Bread, Proper, Black Cat, Woodlands (in Blowing Rock), The Local, Lost Province to name a few....try those. I recommend going for an easy hike up ro...

Umm Boise state still has their track. They just covered the side track surface with a mat like material.

Anyway the Greensboro chapter can do more? I've tried emailing the representative listed on the alumni website, but no response.

technically, at the time; he did not play out of position. He was initially transferring in as a QB/ATH from Toledo.

I think it was a good experience for Taylor to stay in the game and "fight" through it. Keep in mind, he hasn't really had many games like that since coming to App. I think it will be more beneficial for him moving forward.

One more thing, good job special teams. With the exception of one long return we played lights out and returned big. Capel is a beast in at KR. We made Clemsons ST look not so great....

Re: Clemson Gameday Chat
Being at the game today. First we made ourselves look way worse than we actually played in the 2nd QTR throwing 3 picks (1td and one that could have given us the lead). D looked good except for a couple big pass plays, they always swarm to the ball. The bad was the offense. Play calling was vanilla ...
