Exactly. We will have a large group of RS freshmen playing this year. If you throw the incoming fres...

also missing Milos Kostic in the photo. He must not be on campus yet. Everyone was in campus for the first five week term of summer school (May 27-June 27) except Neal and the two most recent recruits-- Loesing and Hodson . The first five-week session is over and the second is just under way. None ...

Re: Louisiana 50,000 Seats for Football within 3 years
While it is a good bet each of the school does not fund every scholarship for every sport the concept applies. The other thing to consider is not only do schools like ULL & Ark State have fewer sports, the types of sports they fund require fewer scholarships, less travel and facility cost. Prime ex...

Re: Louisiana 50,000 Seats for Football within 3 years
People here worry so much about how many seats our stadium holds, but did you happen to see the post earlier today that said ULL's coach makes more than 4x what SS makes? IMO, that disparity is a much bigger issue for App than the one in seating capacity. I was going to post this in the coaches sal...

Re: No Regular Season Games
Golf, tennis, cross country, track and field would likely be on that list.NewApp wrote:This is an excerpt from a Charlotte Observer article: "Ten teams won’t have regular-season games in the Sun Belt and will compete in a conference meet only."
Does anyone know which sports this will include?

I thought for the occasion it was perfectly fine. She is not Peacock but I don't think she should try to be. She will need to put her own stamp on her time as chancellor.

Re: 4 year scholarships
The Southern Cal baseball coach was on Sirius today. He does not want the guarantee for olympic sports. His reasoning was that they don't give full scholarships anyway and they vary the percentages from year to year depending upon the needs and the financial abilities of the players. T That's a fai...

Re: 4 year scholarships
Offering one-year renewable scholarships for non-revenue sports concurrently with four-year rides for revenue sports doesn't really bother me. It's uncharted title-IV territory as far as I know, but I don't see anything unfair about offering the money makers extra incentives as long as it doesn't c...
