Re: Satterfield's contract extended!!!
All of that is nice but if the “right” school comes knocking and pay him 2.5M and up and guarantee it for 4-5 yrs. make no mistake, he will be gone. He did not hire a big-time agent to stay home.

Re: Vegas line for Troy
Troy was lucky to win the game. It was an ugly game. TXST out gained Troy. Troy is dealing with the injury bug. Even with 6 turnovers by TXST they still only lost by 5. I think Troy had one play of 20 yds.

Re: Withers out at Texas State
This is a very short-sighted decision. TXST prior Everett had a mediocre offense and no defense. He significantly upgraded the talent level (which takes a couple years when you are at the bottom) and this year their defense made significant improvement. Currently they are 4th in scoring defense and ...

Re: Troy or Stink?
Troy will win. They will slow gaso’s run and Troy will pass on them... only way GASO stays close is if they get 3 net turnovers.

Re: Enough! Lets Go 'Neers Baby!!
Yea this is so silly. The main point Kornegaylw is making is correct. I always find it funny how fans go off the deep end when something bad happens. Maybe it’s from being a coach but either we will win out or we won’t or something in between. It gets over done on the upside and on the downside. Aft...

Re: No. 25 App State battles many defeating factors in loss to Georgia Southern
For whatever it’s worth, I have a good friend who has friend that officiates SunBelt games and SEC games. He went to see my friend this morning and told him that was the “C” team tonight... they shouldn’t have been assigned to that game. They missed several calls, like the Duck fumble, he said there...

Re: Perfect storm
The offense certainly didn’t help but it was primarily the 24 pts they got off of 5 turnovers that sealed our fate.

Re: Perfect storm
Whether we like it or not this is a game of turnovers. If you’d have said that we’d be down 5 net turnovers; we should get beat by 60. It completely changes the game. It allows the other team GASO to pin their ears back defensively and send more players than we could block.... and they did. It’s cra...

Re: Opening line APP -8 in Shreksboro
Hey Hapapp, I got to the game late Saturday I saw you but didn’t get a chance to say hi. Regarding the play calling, I do think SS wanted to give DE lots of carries to see how he’d hold up....also to work in MW. ULL has shown they were weaker against the run so it made sense to be run heavy. I also ...

Re: Top 25?
We are nipping at the heals of a Top 25 ranking, whether it be SBnation, Bleacher Report, CBSSports, USATODAY, the Coaches Poll or the AP....... We need to do our part and Pack Kid Brewer this weekend.

Re: JMU
Yea those numbers, while at least some measure, are really meaningless. Schools use a hodgepodge of methods to come up with those numbers. Like comparing an orange and a brick.

Re: JMU
JMU's Bourne is dreaming if he thinks the AAC is going to call them. The only way thats going to happen is if there is a major conference realingment and there are much better schools and programs than jmu. Thats cool stay in the FCS.

Re: State of the backfield
All of the backs have been hurt that is why you have so many, particularly in our offense. Williams has been hurt less than Evans and Harrington (missed less games).

Re: State of the backfield
I think there is little question that Evans and Williams will split time. Williams is the closet back we have to Moore’s body type. Williams and do all the inside stuff. He can take the wear and tear probably better than all the other backs. They can use Hicks in spot play. Daetrick can be put in wh...

Thanks TDog for info. Yea, I thought Apps would give him a raise too. Overall I’m surprised the Apos can pay this amount..... but disappointed that we didn’t give him an increase.

Re: Satterfield's contract extended!!!
Yea DG doing what he can... putting best foot forward. However it won’t matter when the right P5 school comes calling then Scott will have his suitor. It’s a matter of time. We are fortunate to have him as long as we can.
