Re: appstatesports.com
Apparently, the individual who was responsible for the payment is no longer here and thus the current admin was caught unaware. I guess the notification went to an address that is no longer current at App. I heard that as well. So, we are going to now put in a protocol to make sure the trademark an...

App player lands on Feldman's Freaks List
Not shocked here. I'm curious to see what he runs the 40 in. 84. Nick Hampton, Appalachian State, outside linebacker He seems to live in the opponent's backfield. Hampton has 19.5 career sacks and 30.5 TFLs and has really developed since coming to App in 2018, when he weighed 200 pounds. Now, he's a...

Re: Da'Shawn Brown enters portal
UVA really wanted him but pulled back after his ACL injury in high school. He verbally committed to us to get leverage for the P5 offers. As soon as he got his first P5 offer, he decommitted. A couple weeks later, he tore his ACL and teams pulled back. We stayed on him because his talent was worth ...

Re: appstatesports.com
Definitely not a cyber attack. Looking at the WHOIS of the domain, it expired 8/3. GoDaddy has a policy to keep it active for a couple of days for certain organizations so we didn't see it go down right away. GoDaddy (and all registrars by law) have a grace period. I believe GoDaddy's is 45 days. I...

Re: Da'Shawn Brown enters portal
I hate to see this but I wonder if the knee injury was too much to overcome and got lost in the shuffle with all of our talent? I wish him well because he does seem like a good guy. https://twitter.com/farrellportal/status/1557120334423285763 Does he likely end up in FCS or would another G5 take a ...

Re: appstatesports.com
What’s to read. Plan is to run it down your throat until you stop it and then to throw over your head.KISS. LOL but still this is a bad look. It is Aug 9 6:37 for me and the website still is not working. This is just a joke. It boggles my mind how we have been as good as we have with such incompete...

Re: appstatesports.com
Yup. Somebody dropped the ball and didn't renew the domain in time. However, there's a 45 day grace period so shouldn't be a big issue. They need to make sure they put it on auto renew I did not check until I saw the post but this is what came up for me. "Secure Connection Failed An error occurred ...

Re: Campbell to join CAA
They have all the land in the world to expand but I don't see how they'll get much higher than they are. Having been to baseball camps when I was younger and dating a girl that went to Campbells PT school, Buies Creek is in the middle of absolute nowhere, no idea how they would do recruiting. Very ...

Re: Projected football depth after Spring
It helps that App has put LB's in the NFL recently. Maybe not historically, but at least in the last 10 years or so it seems our successful NFL players have all been defense (with one or two exceptions). 2011: DB, G, LB 2012: WR 2013: P, DB 2016: DE 2018: G 2020: RB, LB 2021: DB 2022: LB I would sa...

Re: Projected football depth after Spring
It helps that App has put LB's in the NFL recently. We have had Dino Hackett, Dexter Coakley, Rico Mack, Justin Seaverns, Joe DiBernardo, Jeremy Kimbrough, DJ Smith, and many more either get drafted or sign a contract after college of players more than 10 years ago. We have a long history of good L...

Re: Projected football depth after Spring
He is a BEAST! I heard them say he is a beast but it is interesting that he left Arkansas. According to magazines they have 2 starting LBs and so he would have been their top backup. Some NFL people have him on their list of prospects at App. It shows how good SEC teams are that they have backups w...

Also, what’s the word in the Arkansas LB transfer? He certainly looks the part, and has some SEC playing experience. GO APPS!! He is a BEAST! Re: Projected football depth after Spring
I heard Coach say today that Kyle Arnholt might be the smartest and the quickest learner he has even coached - he and the ARK transfer are the front-runners for Demarco position. Kyle looked versatile on HS film and going to be interested to see how he looks at our level. To be honest, if the recru...

Re: Projected football depth after Spring
Dalton Stroman, the redshirt freshman WR from Rockingham who played some in the Boca Bowl, has gotten lots of praise from Clark. Said he can catch the ball all over the field and even said at Sun Belt Media Day that he could end up being one of the best players in App history. I get the feeling he ...

Re: Football Parking 2022
What we don't want is to add younger givers and lose all those over 55 or 60 who helped build this place for sure. We need to keep all those old guard folks and add new younger givers as well. These who are giving big amounts for today under 45 years old will be the ones mad in 25 years if we see a...

Re: Football Parking 2022
I think the atmosphere does influence some kids in our favor. And all of what you said is also true. But there is a ceiling to that influence and while it the atmosphere will could help sway kids on the fence with other G5s, I don’t think that it makes a difference when a kid is picking between us ...
