I figure if we stop the skid tomorrow, it’ll be because we found our offense.

Re: Gameday!!!
clark supporters pretty quiet. safe to say we aren’t pleased with where we are heading now. I think he’s got 1 more year w “his qb” and then reassess. Buyout drops to $3M after december 2022. Drops to $1M after december 2024. Those are both attainable numbers. Those are massive numbers for us. Mone...

Re: Official Tricorn Hat prediction thread
Anyone see this? I wonder what this board will look like if it is this close? https://www.oddsshark.com/ncaaf/robert-morris-appalachian-state-odds-october-29-2022-1648341 That doesn't seem to be a legit projection. They don't have any data for Robert Morris at all. It's not clear what they're basin...

Man, reading this whole thread after the fact was quite a ride. Some of y’all may need to look into what else in your life might be going on that causes such wild emotional swings. Yeah, GaSt’s got a bad record, but they’ve got some talented players and are capable of putting up a fight against anyo...

Re: Four hours 'til KO at 3,333
I didn’t realize until this thread how low Huntington is. And WV in general. At 4800 ft, the tallest peak in WV (Spruce Knob) wouldn’t crack the top 300 peaks in NC.
Beautiful state in spots, but I thought it was higher.

Re: JMU Game Day Thread
The overreaction express is in midseason form, I see. Did you guys not see this as a possibility? This JMU team is good and we’ve been inconsistent. We were a miracle away from this a week ago. It sucks, but take a breath. Nothing in football is ever as good as it seems or as bad as it seems.

Re: Portal Players
An interesting part of the narrative coming out of last weekend is that the transfer portal, considered by so many the kiss-of-death for G5 programs, cuts both ways. All three SBC upsets were lead by transfer QBs and had major contributors who were transfers. There are lots of players out there like...

Re: CLT Observer Poll
Here's their rationale for Steph: STEPHEN CURRY: Although Curry is known for basketball and didn’t attend App State, the NBA star who grew up in Charlotte is nothing if not vocal about his home state pride. He played football as a kid, his father, former Hornets star Dell Curry, told USA Basketball....

Re: CLT Observer Poll
The only two of those who have a case are Armanti and Luke Combs, and I understand Combs is otherwise occupied with a concert date in Wisconsin that day. I had to Google Charlotte Flair and I have zero idea what Steph Curry's connection with App would be. Other than Armanti, more likely (imo) picks ...

I think Troy is set to have an improved year, but unless we've read too many of our own press clippings, I think we'll be ready to go.

Re: Unprecedented National Attention
2007 was huge because it was the first time many national audiences even heard our name. It was an introduction. This game, however, was a confirmation. And the timing couldn't have been better, with two other SBC East teams taking out P5s this week, plus one last week. It was a coming out party for...

I suspect a high-scoring affair, and there's no way I'd pick against us this week.
45-38, Mountaineers Win.
Can't wait to be there, yelling my head off.
