Re: Transition Article by Ethan Joyce
It's a good article and reminder for us fans. There are people under the helmets and behind the headsets. We've been lucky for the last 30 years to have men of character in the High Country. Glad we kept the staff we did and hope we will always have a high percentage of alumni on staff.

Re: Yosef Club staff: Dominic Parisi
For those who don't know, Dominic is an alumnus of Appalachian and a former wrestler. I for one am in favor of hires like his. The more App alumni and beneficiaries of the Yosef Club the better. A quick google search and you can read up on him.

Re: UConn leaving the AAC
I wish Watauga county would see past the next fiscal year and invest in small airport that would support the growth of the institution. As it is teams have to drive up the pass with equipment and staff to play. And most important for them promote year round industry. Only an idiot town manager woul...

Re: 2019 Ga Southern game need some advice
I hate to be cynical, but I expect we're going to get a good number of these types of requests for tickets this year with UNCC and Stink coming to Boone. I want opposing fans to have a great time in the High Country and see first hand why App and Boone is so special, but be honest with who you are a...

Re: WCU wbb
With all the derision slammed at Wester Carolina University on here, why should we care who they hire or not hire? 1) Because she was an assistant at App previously. 2) Because WCU was a rival of ours for years, even if they're no longer a "competitor" in football, wins over them will always matter...

Any updates on the suspended @AppState_FB account? Will it ever come back? Are they going to open up a new one?

We're still not fully funding the scholarships for this team...Kermit has this team pointed in the right direction. There is some strong talent coming in next year which should continue the trend.

Re: Third UNC Chancellor bites the dust
An average annual pay raise of 7% during her time as Chancellor. Her handling of Thursday game day classes and parking Her firing of Cindy Wallace Her inability to pronounce Appalachian 3 years into her job. Her continued wasting of money on things like: a duck house, a golf cart/school bus, a PR fi...

Re: Third UNC Chancellor bites the dust
I’ve had the same take on Everts for years. I’ve said any time her name is brought up that I want her gone. I’m not sure how that’s different from others who have called for coaches to be terminated.

Re: Football team involved in St. Patrick’s Day fight?
Guys, I wish our players only went to class, practice and church. but that's not reality. Some of them go to parties, some drink, some have unprotected sex. If people didn't carry around camera phones we wouldn't know about any of this...my point is, this kind of stuff has been going on for decades ...

Re: Stepping stone vs last stop
To be clear, I'm not advocating for Apke to come back. Just that he was the last basketball coach I could think of who might have treated App as a destination spot. I'm okay rolling the dice on an up-and-comer. With a strong AD we should have a hit rate of 70%. If we do better than that, we're playi...

Re: Fox fired
If you’re not a Yosef Club member, but your keyboard away. $10 a month would make a world of difference to Appalachian and every sports program.
