Re: Jackson is not the answer
Just an observation. Why do you suppose we were on the field so much on defense? Yes we could have gotten more stops, but our vaunted Air Raid offense did nothing. We couldn't sustain drives and we didn't execute . Just that. I've made several posts that said the same thing. We got handled up front...

Re: Jackson is not the answer
Three years ago after the Wofford game and DP was hurt. JJ came in and played well. The question was asked if JJ should replace DP. I said no and you countered me with the fact that JJ was the future and the DP was not. Now you are saying essentially the same thing with your horse in that race. Com...

Re: We Just Got Our Butts Whipped Soundly
One thing to keep in mind. 78 of our 108 players on this roster are either freshmen (52 of those) or sophomores. We have 12 seniors (only 9 made the trip). I haven't looked it up to see but I would think that would make us one of the youngest teams in the nation, at any level. These things take tim...

Re: Jackson is not the answer
The defense is not going to stone wall every team every game. Montana has a good team and were prepared to win. We did not move the ball. We have an all American QB and this is the production we get out of him? I didn't expect a superman effort, but I expected better than this. Three years ago afte...

Re: Moore fired for this!
We averaged 4.7 yards a carry. I don'tt understand why everyone wants to rail on the line. I don't have the answers as to what happened last night, but one game against a quality opponent on their turf is no reason to call for jobs and question the leadership. We are playing a lame duck season and i...

Re: Well
Oh my God does Satt really have our team doing Crossfit? Does he have them on the Atkins diet too? We're ****ed. No wonder we got pushed around in the trenches. Football is no place for unhealthy, fad excersize routines. Both d-lines gave up nearly 5 yards a run. So I would say both got pushed arou...

Re: Well
Black and Gold. You have no clue what you are talking about! Crossfit is one of the most challenging things out there for conditioning. that is not what we lost CrossFit is not for sport specific athletes you dumb a. Maybe you need to get some knowledge on the subject before you start typing. I kno...

You can only cover for so long. You need the d-line to get pressure.

Re: Video Feed
I bought ESPN Gameplan for the day. The play-by-play guy is good but the color guy doesn't know how to pronounce our name. You don't have DirectTv by any chance, do you? I was on the line with them a couple hours before the game and they told me I would have to purchase the entire season for about ...

Re: Griz Gameday Thread
We need to stretch the field. Throw one longer than 10 yards.

Well I can still walk and chew gum at the same time and that is exponentially easier than all of the work you put into keeping us informed with all things social media. Thank you for what you do for us.

Re: NFL Cuts
Is DP eligible for the Practice Squad? He has played well in the preseason but he is still raw as a DB with lots of potential.

Re: Could North Carolina support a MLB team?
I live 30 minutes from the Trop. I can tell you that it is one the nicer places to see a game. Yes it's indoors and the rings offer some unique ground rules, but it is not that bad. It is always 72 degrees at game time and it never rains. If you ever spend a summer on the Florida Gulfcaost you would...

Re: Could North Carolina support a MLB team?
If a team were to move to NC, it would be Tampa horrible attendance, horrible stadium, no signs of a new stadium coming anytime soon. also, i believe there is some rule that a MLB team can't be in the same city as a minor league team, so I think Raleigh would be your best bet, unless as mentioned a...

Re: Could North Carolina support a MLB team?
I don't think there is a rule regarding minor league teams in major league cities. There are 4 Florida State league teams within 30 miles of Tropicana Field. Two in the same county. The Braves AAA team is in the Atlanta superb of Gwinnett.
