Re: Malachi Jones

With Shaedon Meadors apparently out, Malachi Jones could well be the difference-maker in Friday's game. How about Saturday's game? OK, if you want to move it to Saturday, it's OK with me If , and only if , you can get it "live" on ESPN at 5:30! Otherwise leave it alone for today! [...mutt...

Re: Official Lynx Rufus prediction thread

If App holds onto the ball and elimates stupid penalties the chances of victory are pretty good. It is ironic, the seniors (App's final FCS recruited class) will APPear in a FBS Bowl, good job men. Now, go make history and win it!! Go Apps!!!

Re: Ohio no easy task--WSJ

I keep hearing, they don't beat themselves. We need to do likewise, no fumbles on the one yard line, no pitches to the invisible man, no stupid penalties, etc. If we can do this I like our chances.

My wife and I get the Sunday paper only, reason being she clips the coupons, Sunday's edition always contains a lot of them. Most of the coupons are used at the local Food Lion, saves us a few bucks and more than pays the cost of the paper,

The only Bobcats that matter are the Lees-McRae Bobcats, my other almamater (associates degree in business). Wish they would get their football program back.

Re: Dead to the Observer

From time to time The Washington Post (a national publication by the way) mentions App. After the Old Dominion game they had a nice write up on how we kicked ODs butt, I bet nothing was mentioned in the Distruber (a "wanna-be" national publication).

Re: APP vs. Ohio

I didn't see the Cox run on the opening drive but the radio guys said he fumbled. Did it just go out of bounds? Even still, can't have that from our backs. He went down out of bounds and fumbled there, therefore, no harm - no foul on that one. One thing is for certain, we better not have four tunov...

We left 14 points on the field for the last two games (tuning the ball over way too much!), if that trend continues you are correct we will be in trouble.

Yes, in addition to his two 50+ yard field goals plus making all the PATs, he makes a saving tackle preventing another SoAla TD. That adds up to 17 points.

Left 14 points on the field last week, and 14 in the first half this time. Need to clean that up before bowl time or we will be looking at a L.
