Re: Interesting Talk
Somewhere between what can be proven (science?) and what we believe lies a gap. The gap is filled by a thing called "faith". That's where the term "leap of faith" comes from. We all leap from what can be proven to what we believe whether it be Jesus as the Saviour of the world or Santa Claus or evol...

Everything I see and hear from and about Jamal points to a solid young man who seems to have his head on straight. I'm sure he'll do well in whatever arena of life he lands.

Re: Liberty next SBC addition?
it is hard to quantify how much resistance there really is to this move. It will be an easy question to answer in the near future. Do Yosef membership numbers and donations go up or down? My experience with our donor base and others is that some of the most vocal supporters or detractors do not don...

I've also got a paid subscription and couldn't get any video. Granted, I only tried to open it starting at 3:45, so I may have been too late. Alas, I'm glad our move up doesn't depend on your video capabilities.

Is anyone else getting the spinning circle of death??? After fighting through the links on the homepage taking me to the baseball game vs Wofford live event I'm not getting nothing but a black screen. Is the press conference running late or is our web service letting us down again? Yep ... I'm shoc...

Re: Football Coaches in Asheville Thursday night. Come out!
Last night was a really good crowd (about 200?). Yes, all the football coaches were there along with Chancellor Peacock, Charlie Cobb, and quite a few others. The whole atmosphere was very upbeat. It's great to be a Mountaineer!

Pollard is probably having second thoughts about taking that Duke job. With an ACC gig to pad his resume he may be qualified to return to App one day. ;) He probably does have second thoughts, up until the day of the month when he gets paid. :D And I think his kids go to Duke free or at a reduced r...

http://www.goasu.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=21500&ATCLID=206198060 Here's the GoASU version. I had the pleasure of meeting Coach Ledford last year at the Yosef gathering before the SoCon basketball tournament in Asheville. I was quite impressed with him then, and his work during the football se...

Re: McCray at NFLPA game
I was impressed with the number of block A's on other players' helmets. I wasn't sure if the swapping was similar to other team swaps or not. I chose to take it as a sign that the other players enjoyed meeting Demetrius and that he had come prepared with plenty of decals. I'd dearly love to see him ...

McCray at NFLPA game
Demetrius has had a couple of nice plays ... Just ran an interception back to the 35. Guys had good stuff to say about how well he showed in practice this week.

I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you! Do you mean to tell us that the mid-70's were responsible for putting the "happy" in happy App-y? I can't imagine any college student from our generation ever doing anything other than being perfectly studious at all times.

Want to help Yosef?
I've heard plenty of you mention over the years things that the Yosef Club should be doing to increase membership. Here's your chance to put your time where your keyboard is. On Saturday, January 26th, the Yosef Club Advisory Board will be having its annual membership telethon. The day starts at 8:3...

Nothing that had to be wrapped up (or that could have been) ... peaceful day, warm house, good food, laughter, homemade cookies, wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day worship services, and a healthy family ... more than I could have ever hoped for.
