Re: Oh Ye - Of So Little Faith-Part 2 - Consolation Prize
WVappeer is the best App State fan ever! I only hope this small tip of the cap is enough. He's the only one who believed in the football team this year and if you don't believe that, just ask him. He'll gladly tell you. If this is truly a compliment, then thank you - if not, let me be the first to ...

Re: Georgia Southern out does themselves ....again.
I've never seen anything like this guy. Perodically drop by another team, re: hated rivals, board to bash his program and then moves on. While not being able to fathom the motivation for doing so, I always thoroughly enjoy it.

Re: Satterfield Interviews
I agree wer'e a long way from a NY6 bowl currently but I've heard Satt mention it as a goal several times and just knowing his life-long association at App, it'd be a crowning achievement before he left. I just don't see the NC State job as a good move for him, it'd have to be something better, but...

Re: Satterfield Interviews
I've always felt like Satt wouldn't leave until he had reached his goal of getting us into a NY6 bowl, unless a truly great opportunity was presented to him. I just don't see the NC State job as being a truly great opportunity, but that's just my perception. NC State would be just another stepping ...

Re: Satterfield Interviews
Why do these two make you pause? Because I think they're in the range of jobs that would be legitimately interested in him, be a reasonably good geographical fit, and be enough of a step up in pay and opportunity that he'd be interested in them. I could see these as a possibility if they were open ...

Re: North End Zone Project Gets Green Light
They are not moving any stands according to the YC person I met with last week. That would cost way to much money. The track is coming out and there will just be extended sidelines with turf. He did say they may play around with some ways to make use of the new space. One thing he mentioned might be...

hahaha a page of posts debating the quality of medical care offered by Appalachian Regional. And I thought we derailed threads fast over here.

Re: North End Zone Project Gets Green Light
Had a meeting with a Yosef Club official Wednesday and heard a lot about this. Going to be something. Premium seating ala the Blue Zone at UNC, Nice new YC club room over looking the players entrance like we used to have before they moved it to the Quinn, likely a mini version of the book store so y...

I had a meeting with a Yosef employee today and he confirmed that the track would be going as part of the North End Zone project that this gift is funding. Doubling up on our good news.

Re: Meadors Visits Illini
Lovie and his staff may not be there. He's on the hot seat. Doubtful. His agent inexplicably was able to include a 16 million dollar buyout in his contract. Not sure the Illini can fork over that much to get rid of him. Why they agreed to that when no NFL teams were actively going after him is beyo...

Re: Upshaw done for the season
Its a shame on so many levels. He has been the better runner this year and he worked hard to get back. Not sure that Jailin can do this by himself from what I've seen this year.

Re: D. Evans or S. Meadors?
In 5 pages we've gone from our star WR suffering an injury, to being terribly missed and wished a speedy recovery, to he's definitely transferring to SEC South Carolina and is putting himself above his team. Without a single shred of actual information. Life comes at you fast I guess.

Re: The sad delusions of the FBS bottom dwellers - Weak Forest
Their board cracked me up. They were going to murder us and we didn't deserve to be on the same field (and I unfortunately shared their speculation) after the game we were still "awful" and an FCS team and fans that "don't know football." Only they glossed right over that they only beat that "awful"...
