My understanding is that he is the only player to win MVP in both leagues.

Re: Why Don't We...
If there's song about "butt buddies," is that a "family-friendly" enough topic to be acceptable for play in the stadium? Would it still need to be country?

Re: Good Recognition
Looks like Syracuse was the top "overachieving" P5. Also interesting is that this list considers UNCC to be "overachieving".
EDIT:
The scatter plot someone made is telling, as well.

Re: My Take On Others: Nobody saw this coming, and if they did they’re lying
Agreed. I was also thinking last night what is cost to be an Alabama or Clemson fan over the last 4 seasons. Not that we wouldn't want to be there. But, this year alone Clemson fans that attended both games had (most likely) a flight to Dallas. Hotel room, meals, entertainment and game tickets in D...

I doubt opposition to them would have been so vocal if they weren't dead weight more often than not. Not that what I say matters, but I certainly supported NMSU for all sports, based on basketball credentials.

Re: NDSU
Except that App had seen sporadic success in men’s and women’s basketball as well as softball and baseball before the move up. Again, I haven’t done much research on NDSU, but I’ve never seen them mentioned in any sport other than football. I seem to recall them from brackets a few times, recently.

Reports are also in that Satterfield has dismissed all current Louisville players and all current APP players are transferring to Louisville. He is also having the grass hill removed from our stadium and transplanting it to Louisville's stadium. He is also putting the rock on the plaza into a UHaul...

Re: Time for Change with App State Basketball
Please keep some perspective that we are only halfway through a 10 year, multiple recruiting-cycle rebuild. The damage that was done to our program and reputation will take exponentially longer to repair than it did to create. A program can be ruined in a single moment with one thoughtless action or...

The USMC F-18 Hornet and KC-130J that collided in Japan during aireal refueling last Wednesday involved a member of our Appalachian family and one of my closest friends. He is LtCol Kevin Herrmann and he is one of the five C-130 crew that are still missing. His family is asking for your prayers tha...

As long as we are in the Sun Belt Conference, we will always be a stepping stone for coaches. Sun Belt has improved over the years, but facts are facts. Not too many coaches see themselves staying in the Sun Belt long term. With that being said, it should be taken into consideration with the next h...

Apparently the literal worst of the ACC is a better job than coaching one of the best in the G5 Well, of course that's true... Just like bottom of the G5 is better than anywhere than FCS. We didn't know we'd achieve this level of success ever, much less as soon as we did, after moving to the Sun Be...

Re: Our Advantage
Weather may help us. Snow in forecast for the High Country later this week. Chilly for the weekend. GASt. doesn't handle cold snowy games very well. Agreed. Late season, our single largest advantage is home atmosphere and weather. 15000-25000+ loud and rowdy fans when it is snowing sideways can be ...
