Re: North End Zone Project Gets Green Light
This summer I asked about seats in front of the North End Zone project, and I was told there are windows on field level that will look into the stadium so they were not going to have seats there. Now I don't know if that means temporary seats won't be added during the season, but they definitely we...

Re: North End Zone Project Gets Green Light
I love KBS, but have never been a fan of the signage that was added to the walls a few years back. Looks cheap. I think we need to do away with that and add something a little cleaner made of stone or brick. Stone or brick accents to the handicap access towers on both sides of the east stands too. ...

Re: North End Zone Project Gets Green Light
They are not moving any stands according to the YC person I met with last week. That would cost way to much money. The track is coming out and there will just be extended sidelines with turf. He did say they may play around with some ways to make use of the new space. One thing he mentioned might b...

Re: Future schedules
Arrogance from Moo U. Can't be... Moo U? Really? That's about as good as Crap State. I mean, they do literally have cows grazing on their grounds a mile from the stadium. Yeah I know, but it was stupid in middle school and it's stupid now. I guess I've been in NC too long. EZU, Wine and Chee...

Re: Future schedules
It's funny that their fans are complaining about our stadium, but we all know we would have at least 35,000 in the stadium if it happens. Just looking at the past 3 seasons, they have played in front of less than 35,000 on 6 occasions with a 7th time coming up at Wake this week. So stadium/crowd si...

Re: Future schedules
Could not help but breeze through the comments. Two or three morons that think we play in a tiny stadium with only a Hardee's in town. Few State fans going to bat for us. Typical stuff. I know this is all rumor, but interesting timing with the big gift last week. Wonder if we have a few H/H on the h...

Re: North End Zone Project Gets Green Light
When does the waiting list for the new club seats start? There is already a waiting list for club seats, so I'm sure they go to the front of the line for the new project. Where can I go or who should I call to be added? Call Yosef http://appstatesports.com/news/2017/5/31/yosef-club-levels-benefits....

They better not add any seats!
This has been a great week for the program. Win v GS on ESPN, bowl eligible, massive gift, and the go ahead for a KBS expansion.

Marketing does not work if the product is bad. I hope this is the year we start to see things improve.

Re: Attendance Stat
I'm not sure 17% over capacity is easily accommodating. Sure some games are lighter than others, but the 3 games a year we seem to be over capacity are log jams. I appreciate the concerns about spending money when we can continue to get by with what we have, but the model we have in place will addre...

This conversation reminds me a lot of the conversations we were having when we were contemplating moving to FBS.

Re: Attendance Stat
Right, Saturday was a great crowd. It had little to do with the opponent and everything to do with selling tickets to students' families at a discount. But again, if we were packing in 30,000+ regularly, this is a different discussion. I'm not sure what the crowd would look like for a Sun Belt cham...

Let me pose this question to those who are anti-lawn seating: What is it that bothers you so much about OTHER PEOPLE sitting there? For all the posts that make it sound like some kind of uninhabitable hellscape, many fans choose to sit there every week, despite most games having plentiful reserved ...

Re: Attendance Stat
Publics in P3s will only invest in projects in which they see a return. I imagine they will invest in the north endzone project which will be predominantly club seating which demand is able to support. My understanding is the Public aspect will also include retail space. Is this your understanding?...
