Re: NC A&T Looks to go FBS
The issue for A&T is money. I don’t see how they can do it financially.

Re: Official Fall Camp thread
That was one thing I didn’t agree with on Satts presser at UL. At the G5 level winning P5 games gets you more exposure than consistently winning in your league. Winning P5 games of interest does more for ticket sales and Yosef Club than 6 of our 8 conference games/wins a year. Sidebar love Drink an...

Re: North End Zone Construction
I’m surprised...and disturbed to see so much wood in the new dorm. I had anticipated reinforced concrete floors and skeleton. I had the same reaction. Maybe it's some temp support/brace technique until the metal and concrete can be staged. Count me as presently unimpressed! Most of the new apartmen...

Drink is running the program like a P5 school. Limited media availability and limited 11 on 11. Not saying it’s good. Not saying it’s bad.

I would recommend App State leadership follow suit on the Halloween Night game against Stink. I would recommend the BOG investigate App State for failing to do their jobs if they do. Also, Athletics would need to compensate all the staff that have to use their vacation time to take off because the ...

Both Texas St and Georgia St allowed it and it works. It’s another revenue stream as others have said being given to us. You just have to appropriately place the stands and staff them accordingly.

Good luck with that one. Everts will make it a colossal mess as she has previously. Especially when you consider the west campus construction.

Re: Stadium parking deck
I think the game day experience may be harmed for one-two years. Overall that’s minimal. Also helps that this years home schedule is a drag. Next year you have Troy, UL and stAte. Following years will be better as well from a gameday experience. The improvement in our student body from these changes...

Re: THE MEMPHIS COMMERCIAL APPEAL:
There have been various rumors regarding what jobs he has been interested in. Both ECU and Wake I have heard from enough people.
At the end of the day ADs have a shelf life. Realistically by year 6 their popularity goes downhill. It’s impossible to always make good hires with our level of money.

UNC Blog Ranks Opponent QB's and has Thomas at 3B. https://www.tarheelblog.com/2019/6/21/18681262/unc-tar-heels-football-quarterbacks-schedule-trevor-lawrence-acc-south-carolina-power-rankings I can see Zac being at 3 but I don't agree with Jake Bentley ranking that high. I like the quote, "the App...

Bullpen was lights out last night. Pitching so far this year has been vastly improved.
Remember in baseball you recruit 2 years out so this is his first full class.

Re: Georgia State 2/21 Gamethread
Our guys played their butts off last night and came up short at the end..... it sucks, it was a winnable game. That’s what makes it hard to swallow... and if it’s hard for us to swallow how about the team and coaching staff. The idea that somehow it’s the coaches fault is a little misplaced. Its a ...

Re: Georgia State 2/21 Gamethread
These are the type of results you should be seeing in year 3 at the latest. We have 17 losses now and can at best be .500 in conference play.
Tonight was a great example of Fox's struggles. Play great only to blow the chances late. Coaching does a disservice to the kids in late game situations.

Re: Men's Basketball @ A-State
I’ve been a HUGE Doug Gillin fan from day one. His management of the football coaching transition has been masterful and his vision for Appalachian Athletics is the same as mine. That being said, I’m starting to lose confidence in him when it comes to basketball. The time has come and gone to relie...
