Re: Bowl Season
I think the refs have been paid by Nike. Too many little bullsheet calls imo helped the game get away from Liberty.
The deck is stacked against us little guys anyway.

Re: Where are we at as Appalachian football?
I don’t believe we have the type of innovative staff for a drastic offensive scheme change. BINGO However it would be nice to have a new scheme to go to Clemson with...... I feel that we will be very competitive that game if we can beef the OL and DL. Clemson isn’t its old self anymore struggling i...

Re: Where are we at as Appalachian football?
I was thinking over the season that it might be time for an offensive scheme change. App has done the stretch runs since 2014. The spread option lasted about a decade starting in 2004. Maybe continue the tradition of implementing a new offense in a year ending in 4? I would love to see some more co...

Re: Where are we at as Appalachian football?
Our stretch definitely needs to be visited now in the off season as it has become apparent over the last few seasons that it is known how to defend it successfully. our best runs we’re counter to the direction of the stretch either by design or improvisation of the back. Lots of 4th and shorts we co...

Re: Down goes the ACC
A lot of these issues are due to simple math. Add more teams and you water down the product. Everyone can't win every game. When Wake won the ACC did they get a huge chunk of extra revenue? When FSU was down and sucked they were quiet. You can't have some huge conference and have an equitable reven...

Re: Transfer rule change.
college football is dead, anyway can't wait to watch the same rich schools buy championship after championship kid from Ole Miss showed up recently in a Lambo money + unlimited transfer potential = professional sport I agree with everything you say. Kid will be broke by 30, and working an hourly jo...

Re: Sunbelt bowl games scores
It's way too easy to pick apart any of the bowl games below the top 4 teams. All of the games are just exhibition and most now have large chunks of rosters who are not playing. They are what they are. Take the win and the trophy. Looks like our head ball coach earned some nice bonus money. Hard to ...

Re: Freshman Admission rates 2023 across conferences
I assume we still have a good number of applicants but we have been increasing our freshman classes recently, so that may be why it is higher. My daughter is a jr in HS and is looking around. I was shocked that Chapel Hill and App seem to have a large difference admission "requirements". CH wants 1...

Re: Other SB schools losing players to Transfer Portal
We will need a new offensive line to win a championship. Losing three in the middle and the tackles struggling. I don’t know if we have what we need . It will be interesting what happens but we added Gentry and Scroggs last year in preparation for this. T hey will likely be the 2 new starting guard...

Re: Sunbelt bowl games scores
Speaking of JA. I was just looking at some of way too early NFL draft prospects sites. I don't see JA on a single quarterback list. He would be eligible for the 2025 draft correct? Surely some of these projections have been recently updated. Hard to believe he's not a top 20 at the very least. The ...

APP is the only bright spot so far in the best G5 and powerful SBC I've been hearing about all season? And we beat their backups...lol Damn, we lover own brand.
