Re: Akron 9/24 @3:30
Here in Akron. Well actually Canton, but we went out to their campus earlier. Very nice and super stadium. They were hosting a HS game between 2 Catholic powerhouses tonite. Huge tailgate. Security guard told me they expected over 15k for the game. He said they expected less than 5k for the Zips ga...

Re: My legitimate concern: Miami exposed a huge weakness on our defense
My bigger question is why don't we run more hurry up? It was extremely effective when we did it in the past. Satterfield was even a part of those teams. We actually would run those bubble screens off of it as well. I also don't understand why we don't recruit dual threat QBs anymore to allow us mor...

Re: My legitimate concern: Miami exposed a huge weakness on our defense
This is a huge concern. Woody is a great defense of Cordinator, but he has never proven to stop a fast-paced offense. See Troy last year, liberty the year before and even when he was at Wofford he could not stop app when they went fast. Yeah my dad and I have been saying for the past few years it s...

Re: Miami vs. ASU Color Guard
Yeah, every replay I've seen shows no wrong doing by any Miami players. Stay classy App fans and please stop calling them "Thug U", that's way worse than when someone calls us "Appy State". The entire game I thought Miami's players played with class, never saw them have any late hits or cheap shots.

Re: Lamb performance so far
I'm one of the biggest TL defenders out there and I do agree his performance has been a bit concerning so far this year, but nothing near bad enough to make me think it's time to even think about a switch. I don't think our receivers have been very good so far this year either, I don't think they're...

My legitimate concern: Miami exposed a huge weakness on our defense
Anyone else worried about this? Early in the game especially they ran an offense so quick our defense looked totally lost. A lot of the time they simply ran screens, they were throws I think about any of us could have made, but our defense was still looking at the sidelines or making substitutions a...

Re: ODU Game Day chat
Guess I'm just getting antsy......been a long long long time since we have had a real stud QB going back to AE and Richie days ......I realize at the level we are now may be long long time before we see one again. I really don't know what you guys expect for our QB. Players like Armanti come around...

Re: Why don't we try passing the ball down the field against these teams?
I get we were running the ball well, but I don't get how you guys can say what we were doing on offense was "working" when we only scored 13 points and none in the second half. Someone brought up that first play in OT. Lamb dropped back, had time and Meadors was open it was just a bad throw. It was ...

Why don't we try passing the ball down the field against these teams?
Not here to rip Satterfield or any of our players. Coach put together a hell of a game plan that almost worked. I just don't understand why we don't try throwing the ball down the field more. Lamb is a good passer, we've seen it. I'm not saying we needed to try more 65 yard bombs or anything, but wh...

Re: Entrance song
DG should ask the players what song gets them fired up. And/or have a contest for students to pick one. If he asks the players they'll obviously pick a rap song that both the students and players love but there would be too much complaints from the oldies that say stuff like "we're going away from ...

For those who watch Soccer - (I watch the World Cup, Olympics, America's Cup - not MLS) - can anyone fill me in on why I always hear how good Michael Bradley is and in the aforementioned competitions I have seen him do nothing ??? - thanks --- I know I'm weeks late on this but I figured I'd fill yo...

Re: Pierre Banks
Aaaaaahhhh, Pierre Banks.... One of the most exciting moments to ever happen in KBS when Pierre ran down that James Madison fumble and outfought their tight end for it. Loved that play as it exemplified exactly what type of fight App State football is all about ! :) I think this is a top 5 most fam...

Predict your breakout player for the 2016 season
There's always someone who breaks out and becomes a star player. Last year we had Jalin Moore and Eric Boggs, as well as Gibbs :( who really broke out as some of our best players. So who do you think takes their game to stardom this year? My guess is Shaedon Meadors. The talent there has been undeni...

Good thing is we probably have more depth at CB at any position besides running back. But still a huge loss nonetheless, he's a fantastic player. One of the best we have
