I've heard Steve Logan on the radio here in Raleigh a gazillion times say that when he was at ECU and he couldn't get a 300 lb lineman to give him a 6-5 guy at 260 and he put the weight on him.

We are in better shape in the trenches headed into Fall camp than we have been in a long time.

Regarding WR - there will be some true freshmen coming in who will fill those holes and likely produce. Meadors being at least one.

There's no question losing Peacock and Washington leaves the cupboard a little bare. If Sumler stays off the PuP he will have a break out year and we have some help on the way in the Fall, ableit Freshman, but Meadors will probably contribute right away as well. As far as offensive schemes go - I quite like how masterfully NDSU runs the Power-I and their pro-sets.

I've accepted the fact that we aren't good this year, I also fully support this staff until such time (3-4 years from now) we have or have not seen they can have us competitive in the SBC.

That said, I do think TB should call him Coach.

But, hey, it's just an opinion.

I like Tommy Bowman because he's been a loyal App State beat writer and is very good at what he does, but I have to say, for the record, that it really bothers me that he calls Coach Satterfield "Scott" on the weekly teleconferences. He never called Coach Moore "Jerry." None of the other Sports Edit...

That was by far one of the worst officiated games I've ever personally attended.

I have said for the last 5 years that Jerry's age was an opposing recruiter dream come true.
