Re: MBB vs Georgia State (1/22 6pm & 1/23 4pm)

Forrest with 23!!!! I'd been tough on JF lately but a HUGE performance!
Delph with 17
Almonacy with 13 (clutch FT shooting there at the end)
Gregory with 12

You'll win a lot of games when you get 4 guys scoring in double digits.

App hit 10 3's and 18 free throws.

I'm loving this team.

Living by the 3. Made 8 in the first half. Almonacy, Forrest and Delph are crushing it right now.

Re: FCS In The Spring - Who Are You Rooting For?

I wonder what the possibility is for the FCS to move to the spring all together moving forward? Keep one or two pay games in the fall as a pseudo spring game, then the full season in the spring. I'm down here in Clemson country where they and USC are "obliged" (not obligated) to play an in-state FC...

Are they really going to do this? Do they play again in the fall?
They plan to have a 16 team playoff ending around mid May.

FCS In The Spring - Who Are You Rooting For?

We say on our show that you're allowed to have an FBS and an FCS team that you root for....so who are we rooting for?

Obviously the answer isn't Furman, Wofford, Elon, JMU, or NDSU...so who - and why?

Re: MBB vs Georgia State (1/22 6pm & 1/23 4pm)

I feel like with the increased basketball chatter we've had this year if not for COVID watch parties would be popping up all over NC. His deal had to be for 4-5 years...Keeping Kerns long term has to be one of Doug Gillin's priorities.

I don't know that my OCD could take it. Off Center and Cockeyed
Our whole stadium is off center and cockeyed. East doesn’t match west. NEZ complex isn’t centered. Pillars and stands aren’t symmetrical. We have the mystery hill of football stadiums 🤣

Lay off A&T. They got a good band.
So does Chad Kroeger but that doesn’t make Nickelback worth a 💩.

1/22 (6pm) and 1/23 (4pm) the ladies travel to Georgia State 6-3 overall, 2-0 in conference (good for 2nd place in the league).

2020-'21 Women's Basketball Megathread

This is a thread for all things Lady Mountaineer basketball. It's a little late getting started, but McLeansvilleAppFan is right, the women's basketball program is under represented on this message board. The megathread idea worked last year for baseball and softball (sports that don't generate a to...

Re: What's next for stadium projects?

🤣 for the concourse that connects the north end zone to the east stands I’m envisioning a split-level ramp. One side has a gentle grade that gets you from the NEZ concourse level to the existing east side concourse level, the other side has a slightly steeper grade that gets you up to the upper deck...

MBB vs Georgia State (1/22 6pm & 1/23 4pm)

Big "see where we are as a program" series vs Georgia State. App State: 10-5 overall, 4-2 in conference, 7-2 at home. Georgia State: 8-2 overall, 2-1 in conference, 3-2 on the road. Georgia State has beaten Georgia Tech (4OT), Charlotte, and have gone 2-1 vs Coastal. They've played both series vs Co...

Re: What's next for stadium projects?

The ramps are bad, the aluminum is bad, but i don’t think anything over there needs to be replaced. It could get a brick facade to match the west side and be just fine.

Re: What's next for stadium projects?

I’ve heard the eventual plan is to connect the exterior concourse of the as-yet-unfinished NEZ complex with the west side, but I haven’t seen anything official about it.

Scheme or not “shoot and run back down the floor” is frustrating to watch when you’re trying to claw back into a game.

Re: MBB @ South Alabama Discussion (1/15 7pm & 1/16 5pm)

Not like driving the lane out of control is anything new for him, but it almost appears as if Forrest knows he’s not going to get the opportunities in Kerns’ scheme so he’ll take it upon himself to force his chances. Feels like Kerns has a scheme but Forrest is still stuck in his old hero-ball ways....
