Re: Recruiting, 2013
78, Is there any way Rivals *s can be added to the next full recruit list update on MMB? Thanks! and thanks for going to all this trouble in the first place. Gonzo: I could easily add stars to the master list, but I'm reluctant to do so because I believe the star system used by Rivals, Scout and ES...

Nice comeback win by the Apps. Down 12 early and win by double digits.

Re: Basketball and the AD
I was at App during the Maravich years (the worst ever for App basketball) and the following resergence under Cremmins who brought instant crediblity to the program and turned it around FAST. It's all about coaching which includes recruiting . App won something like 4 games under Maravich one year a...

Attendance was in the 800 range. First time in Holmes history that App has had 3 consecutive crowds of less than 1000.

Re: ASU vs Milligan -Game Thread
A win is a win. Healy had a great game. Foul shooting was unbelievably bad. Team would play poorly for 3- minutes then have a spurt where they would score 8-10 points then back to poor again.

Neal sitting because of being late for the shootaround. It looks like neither team has shown up yet as both seem rather uninspired to be there.

Gotta let this year play out first. How knows....the SoCon isn't exactly the Big 10 and this App team could come together and win a lot of games. At least I hope they can compete in the SoCon.

No real reason for Benson to make a move yet. It appears that none of the schools of interest are going anywhere any time soon.

A lead is never safe with this group but they do hold on for the win. Nice positive win to build on going into the holiday break.

He looks like a good candidate for returns. Sumler and Washington have the straight line speed, but it looks like Dante uses his blockers and picks his lanes better. Washington has a pretty great year returning until the injuries added up. Didn't get to see enough of Sumner but with his speed he sh...

It doesn't appear that the Apps signed any JUCOs this year. Not sure if that's good or bad.

Scott was hired as Head Coach and as CEO of the App football program he will shape his staff to fit the image of what he wants and requires of each functional position. He is like any new CEO that analyzed the changes required to improve the company/team and then reacts by replaceing the Directors/C...

Re: ASU football jerseys
The "block A" has really become the symbol of App State athletics and should continue to dominate the uniforms of all of our sports teams....it's simply good brand marketing. Gotta stick with the black helmet (although I could go for a flat matte black) with block A. The only change I would like to ...

Re: Football Scoop: Coach Blalock not returning/Jones not DC
I hope Jones would agree to stay on as LB coach. I'm sure SS has some idea of who he would like to bring on board as DC as well as on the offensive side. Things are getting interesting very quickly.

Re: Kimbrough 2nd in Buchanan Voting
Price finishing 3rd after breaking so many long standing freshmen WR records just shows how hard it is for someone other than a QB to win these types of awards. No discredit to the winner but that's just the way it is. We'll see who goes on to have a bigger career. Congrats to both Kimbrough and Pri...
