Re: Georgia State Coach Injures Himself
This is a dumb comment . Remember, Shawn left App to go to SC, at a time when App was still in FCS. We aren’t talking about going to a rival school for a few dollars more. He left an FCS school to go to an P5 conference. Only after a successful tenure of coaching and rising through the ranks at SC ...

Re: Georgia State Coach Injures Himself
It's not like he was acting ridiculous. If you watch the video, he's just a passionate, exuberant coach. Things happen. Never get old. And I get that we're supposed to dislike our competition, blah blah blah, but Shawn was an active member of our team, either as a player or a coach, for 17 years. T...

Re: No game this weekend
To piggy back off of what 8993 is saying, these decisions were not made in haste. There are literally hundreds of factors in play with this decision and all of them centered around safety. The one thing that I can say about a football game is that I have been excited about a win and I have been dis...

Re: FLORENCE MIGHT BE A PROBLEM
I always like to look at all of the pros and cons of an issue before making a decision...as it stands I see a awful lot of cons and very few pros (if any) in terms of playing the game this weekend. I think it needs to be postponed and then cancelled if a make-up date is not available , it's just a ...

Re: Rescheduling Hypotheticals
I'll be out of town on 10/13 so a home game is a no-go. Perhaps we can rearrange the whole schedule so you can attend. Just a dose of your sarcasm back at you. Re view your "smallest violin in the world playing my heart cries for you" youtube video. This is sarcasm, Cline. Geez. You are soooo outda...

I'll start with Clemson at The Rock on October 13 . . . both teams have this weekend cancelled . . .
Dream on. We're about 70,000 seats short.

Re: Satterfield
Coach Fedora is not the problem at unc. Them fellers have to go to class now and they dont like it one little bit. No sir! Its not what they r gittin paid for. They wont improve until they get recruits who understand that classes and homework r required. I hope Coach S. understands that. Nothing wi...

We've had multitudes of those who have left.

Re: Satterfield
Scott Satterfield is App State Football. Whenever someone considers another job one must decide what (Location, Job Satisfaction or Money) is most important and make your decision from there. You can usually get your #1 priority, sometimes you can get your #1and #2 priorities. However, there are ve...

Re: Satterfield
Satterfield didn't hire the big time agent to stay in Boone for the remainder of his career. As much as we would love that, it isn't going to happen. That said, he didn't hire that agent to jump into a dumpster fire, or an ethics situation either. I also don't think he will want to jump into a situ...

Re: Satterfield
Baby Kiffin is a higher profile resume, who has had short stints at big name schools. Satterfield gets a lot out of his talent and runs a clean program to our knowledge, whereas Kiff hasn't. UNC would be a step down currently in the directions of each program, but about $1-1.5 million pay raise. Ho...

UNC-Cheat vs ECU
If my eyes aren't tricking me, ECU beat UNC-CH 41-19. Too bad both couldn't lose.
