Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread
Coaching staff assignments don't appear to support a 3-4 defense, just an observation, not a criticism. Unless DJ is going to coach all linebacker positions. We have two spots left and don't have a RB or Dline coach, yet. If we were in the 3-4 still, we traditionally had a ILB coach and an OLB coac...

Great coaching continues from Angel and staff. Clutch free throw shooting and getting the ball into the right hands late is excellent.

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread
Charlie Harbison doesn't have any direct Drink connections or Roof connections. He was at Auburn a few years after Drink and Roof had left. This rules him out for me, but he would be a FANTASTIC hire. Excellent recruiting talent. I hear mixed things on him. People who were with him at Clemson thoug...

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread
The fact that several schools have hired him previously is at least encouraging. However in this climate you must turn over every stone.

Re: CFP Semi Games
At an 8 team playoff it would lead to better semifinal games. Teams like Notre Dame and OU would lose to Ohio St and Georgia at the end of the year.
If we are going to play conference title games than the 5 winners should get in.

Agreed on Anderson's wife. Prayers to her and the family.
However Blake should be gone. They are about to lose a ton of seniors and it is as good a time as ever to start fresh.

Re: Other Potential Bowl Games
Peach Bowl IS a NY6. Belk and Music City would be nice, but what incentive do they have to forego their current P5 vs P5 tie-ins? More feasible and appealing IMO is a deal among all the G5 leagues so that four champions who don’t go to NY6 would play each other in two games that could rotate among ...

Satt called the plays but got input from Clark and Ponce. I'm assuming he is filling the Ponce role. Also a big recruiter for us in South FL.

Re: Time for Change with App State Basketball
I have watched enough games over the Fox era. His players do not improve they plateau. The defense has always been pretty porous. They do not run any offense.
I am thankful for his work in cleaning up the off the court but the on court product just is not there in year 5.

Eliah has done an excellent job at his stops and has spent time at G5 programs similar to ours. Out of left field but I love it.

Here is a thought why would Gattis be recruiting with Saban if he was leaving? The only source on his interview is Football Scoop.

Re: Football parking 2019
Some tentative items include the use of the lot behind the stadium, Eggers/Bowie, and potentially the areas occupied currently by the tennis courts and softball fields for next year. Overall I was assured between the deck and the new lots there would be a similar amount of spots as now.
