Re: App at College Station
Of course a win would be the best...but keeping it close with TA&M will go along way by the end of they year. If we can hold the loss close and they (A&M) blow out LSU, MISS ST., Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas it will go a long way for NY6 chances. We need the UNC win and the A&M game to be close. ...

Re: App at College Station
Well I didn't read the entire statements by either Saban or Fisher, however I don't believe Saban said anything was illegal - he said they bought their players, which nowadays is not against the rules. What Saban said was correct and I think he missed the point by naming names instead of continuing...

Re: App at College Station
Do I feel NIL in some cases has gone too far? Yes. However when you look at all universities and not just the big names, I see more stories about non-profits being started and other admirable things. Saban has a point, however anyone that thinks Alabama isn't doing the same methods as A&M, well I'v...

Re: Projected football depth after Spring
Is Burger redshirting? I’m asking for a friend. Think you can safely assume almost any freshman QB is going to redshirt if he isn't going to be the starter, or at least have a regular in-game role a la Tim Tebow. Thanks! That’s what I figured. So Berger won’t even be on the depth chart, meaning Tab...

Re: Drone view of stadium area
I honestly don't remember DPF being bigger or at least not twice as big in the late 80s. I was in Bowie in 1988-89 and Frank the next year so I walked by there all the time. I also admit to having some less than positive memories I have mentioned before, either here or on the old Delphi forum, rela...

Re: App at College Station
Too your initial question. Not really. I’m realistic with our chances against A&M, but if we are to have a realistic shot to be ahead when the clock hits zero, we will need an effective running game that will eat up clock and limit possession. If A&M hasn’t settled on a QB by then, it could create s...

Re: Projected football depth after Spring
Seems likely given we have Brice and McBride, but if God forbid something happens to both of them, I would expect him to come in before Tabscott,NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 3:04 pmIs Burger redshirting? I’m asking for a friend.

Re: Projected football depth after Spring
Clark did a podcast over the weekend. It seems that McBride is the solid QB2, with Clark saying they'll have packages for him and he will see the field this fall. As far as WRs, Clark specifically mentioned Dalton Stroman, the 6-4 WR from Rockingham, saying he could catch the ball all over the plac...

Re: 2022 Baseball Mega Thread
I will say that this WF game was somewhat meaningless for a number of reasons. Also, Wake went something like 24-2 in non-conference this season and likely will make the tournament. So I'm not as annoyed with the blowout loss. The mistimed promotional email was definitely annoying, moreso since the...

Re: The End of Miller Hill?
Not sure, but 3k at $150 per seat is $450k in revenue. I can’t imagine that it would cost more than that. To put this into perspective for Cline, 3k on the hill at $20 per times 7 games is $420k. So after the 1st game, we are net $30k in revenue with the seats with 6 games left to increase that. Se...

Re: The End of Miller Hill?
The ones in the present student section stand up the whole time anyway. Seating would be a waste and hold less fans by far. Leave it alone and spend money more wisely. So how many people can we put on the hill? A hell of a lot more than if we built concrete and aluminum to stand up on...because stu...
