Re: *Official ASU vs Lil Sammy In-Game Thread*
App doesn't respect the wideouts for Samford, doesn't seem too worried about them running past us, selling out to stop the short pass and the run. Samford has a good defense, but started to see opportunities in the second quater, missed field goal really hurts, had a chance to put a knife in them, ...

Re: *Official ASU vs Lil Sammy In-Game Thread*
The Sammy play by play guys are such HUGE homers it's pathetic. Every Sammy penalty was "questionable". They know who signs their paycheck. ;) That said, there were a couple of penalties that were questionable. I thought the hit on your kicker was brutal, but squeaky clean, none the less. Maybe it ...

Re: *Official ASU vs Lil Sammy In-Game Thread*
I know it's free, but I figure the Sammy folks would like to see replays on touchdowns that App scores. As much as I hate giving up touchdowns, I want to see what went wrong when opponents score.

Re: Ticket prices for Furman on ESPN
I hope you are right, but I'm not sure I've seen that many seats for a regular season game before. Hopefully success over the next three weeks will result in a tough ticket.ASU-FTW wrote:The Furman game is still a ways out. Relax folks.

Re: Ticket prices for Furman on ESPN
This doesn't hurt the sellouts. Scalpers have already bought these seats. They're just being resold, we just won't have butts in all the seats. No. Having hundreds of available seats does, though. Check GoASU. https://tkt.xosn.com/tickets/TicketHome.dbml?DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=21500&_MODE_=EVENTSELECT...

That may be where our sellout streak ends. Hopefully, we will be back in the top five by then and it becomes a hot ticket.

YouTube is where I see these videos, as nine times out of ten, I am using my iPad. It makes my day when I see a new video pop up there. Even if its a little later than playattherock.

Re: To Kick Rather Than To Receive
The way of the momentum and flow of the game was going, I was glad to be getting the ball to begin the second half. Hindsight is always 20/20. BTW, if I recall correctly, we went 3 and out on our first possession in the 3rd. Sorry I wasn't clear but that was my foresight thought at the end of the f...

Brace yourself...Good question.
Looking at the play-by-play, I still don't understand.

Well, there's something we agree on. Really, I'm just pulling some chains here. I don't want to see this board die out and certainly don't want to see it become just some place for fans to gripe . That's where I'm coming from. Thank you Jesus. That's the one thing I hate on here...a little is fine,...

Re: To Kick Rather Than To Receive
I have scientific evidence to back it up, but I've noticed over the years that high school and pro teams usually elect to take the opening kick, while college teams like to defer. For high schools, it makes sense. If you win the toss and say you want "to kick" you'll be kicking to start both halves.

Re: Seats
Maybe our fanbase is getting bored. How about a better schedule? The Citadel and Elon don't exactly move the needle (Elon 2009, Armanti's senior year, being the exception).
