Re: Why Bobo?
Man you are talking in perfect scenarios - if we had a game-breaking punt returner who never fumbled we would have seen him by now ---

Re: Apologies now being accepted!
Yeah, the apology thread is a little over the top. Unfortunately, not nearly as over the top as calling for a first-time HC's job after 16 games. Who is responsible for the improved product since the Liberty game? Well obviously it's the fact that we've quietly replaced most of our coaching staff w...

Re: Why Bobo?
You guys can argue who should/shouldn't return punts but I have one simple philosophy with this --- Give me the guy who catches the punt and doesn't fumble and I don't care if our return average is ZERO as long as our fumbled punts is ZERO as well --- 2 reasons I feel this way 1. We have a very goo...

Re: Apologies now being accepted!
App91 you are a piece of work. Based on your comments, clearly you have not paid attention to what has been happening to our football program for the last 5 yrs. You must live in an alternate reality from most of us. Oh, please elaborate on my alternate universe. To say I have not been paying atten...

Re: Best win since 2009 ?
Samford 2012 when the Price was Right was a big one IMO. Here's some other big wins that came down to the wire in recent memory (since the 3 Peat). Elon 2013 Samford 2012 Furman 2012 Montana 2011 GS 2012 UTC 2011 GS 2011 UTC 2010 Richmond 2009 El Citadel 2009 GS 2008 If you are going to list all th...

Re: Best win since 2009 ?
Id say best win since Montana or Furman in 2012. The implications of this win arent quite as apparant yet IMO. I think those of you are correct about ULM being the best win - however, I agree that the win over Montana would be the one game that the majority of fans would select and I think that is ...

Re: Sunday Morning QB
Four things: 1. Why do we try to run a reverse to the short side of the field? 2. Why do you rugby kick inside of the 30? If it takes an unfavorable bounce we end p with a return (which we did) 3. Critchers grandfather and uncle were sitting behind us. Didn't know it until he made the kick and gran...

Re: Sunday Morning QB
"3.The only thing that irritated me was that we kept going to the well on trying to get our guys on the edge in the running game, but ULM's defense was too fast for us to be successful. Cox was killing them though on those off-tackle stretch runs. looks like he figured out where the cutback lane was...

an addendum --- Who are some of the callers after the game??? First call complains about not using Cox enough - should run him every play --- Wow, that's right, let's wear him out and not give him any breaks ????????? :? Another asked why we weren't blitzing more? - sorry but what game was he watchi...

Sunday Morning QB
WOW - What a game!!! - As David Jackson said in the post-game, "if you didn't have a horse in this race, you had to love watching this game" - It was a well-played game by both teams. Again, we watched on TV but the crowd sounded much more into the action - Congrats and Thanks to all who made it out...

Re: Panthers Activate Presley
just saw where they resigned the guy they cut to take Presley off the PUP list - cut Presley and resigned the original guy Chris Ogbonnaya. I honestly have no idea what Gettleman is doing right now. I am sure he has a plan, but the moves throughout the season sure don't seem to make a lot of sense....

Re: APP STATE / UL-MONROE WX TRENDS - Early look
To me App Saturdays are game days. Starting at noon limits the time to spend with friends. 3:30 start times are best for the majority of our fans. I'm fine with 3:30 starts but with a 3 hour drive home plus a stop for dinner its getting tougher on an old man ;) to make that trip especially now that...
