Re: Sunbelt Football Conference Schedule delayed
I saw floating around the Twitter-verse that the delay may be because ESPN is trying to get our game vs. Miami on a Friday night. Has anyone heard that or can debunk that? Being on the mothership would be great publicity, but I think that it would hurt attendance numbers for that game which would b...

ODU Football scheduling
Just ran across this article from a couple of weeks ago and thought it was interesting . For the most part, it mentions how ODU is scheduling for $$ games so they can build a new stadium, etc... Note their 2020 schedule which has them playing Wake, Virginia, and North Carolina. Can you imagine the M...

Re: Armanti to the CFL
Way to go Armanti ! Hope that he finally gets a legitimate shot to play qb at the next level. I know he lacks size and all but remember all of those highlight films running like crazy (Richmond) and throwing over the top to Quick and company. He is one hell of a qb !

Hey, at least we didn't add to the "leading after 6 innings" statistic. Let's be optimistic.

Re: Are BCS schools really scared to play us
I was speaking to the world famous Big C during the women's game. There is the speculation out that we have a new announcement coming regarding a Power Five game. Dream game would be the "Mountaineer Clash" vs WVU in Charlotte. I truly hope that we get a new announcement of some type soon. It is a ...

No Ice in Cups, Just Barbecue
Hope that most of you get the joke regarding the name of this thread..... Just wanted to shout out to Old South Barbecue in Windy Hill, SC . Was down that way last week for work and stopped by when I smelled the wood smoke and saw their sign. Really, really good tasting barbecue for the sandlapper s...

Re: Future Rankings 1-126
Not impressed with GaSo. We return Lamb, Cox, Moore and most of our Oline and plenty of defensive experience. As to their bowl game. Both BG and Gas, were in hybrid situations with patchwork coaching staffs. Not a good metric to predict the future. As to recruiting class, stars tell us nothing exce...

If we could somehow finish 11-2 with our schedule next season, I definitely think that we would break the top 25.

Re: MBB: Apps blow late lead and fall at the final horn
I don't even follow our basketball program as closely as I should and these types of games over the last couple of weeks make me feel nauseous for our guys. I can't imagine how Coach Fox and the team feels.

Re: Possible Plan of Idaho if kicked out of SunBelt
Regarding the Medal of Honor Bowl, I had an interesting conversation with one of the ESPN guys that choose bowl sites as he was checking out of the same hotel as me on Sunday after the Camellia Bowl. He stated that all of his colleagues were quite impressed with App turnout (as was Montgomery) and ...

Re: Possible Plan of Idaho if kicked out of SunBelt
From Twitter: NCAA @NCAA DI Council approves proposal allowing FBS conferences without 12 members to hold conference championship football games. So we could be playing a possible 14 games. That being 12 regular season games, 1 championship game, and a bowl game? Don't be such a pessimist. 15 game...

Re: 2017 non-conference schedule
Maybe we'll play a Sun Belt game week 2? True! I hope that's the case. I prefer an open date after 4+ games although I can buy Mac's recruiting logic. Pumped for the Wake game as well. Those games back in W-S were fun! Went to quite a few of those Wake games in Winston. Just based on local interest...

Re: Come join YOSEF.... I just did...
After all these years of the media side, and the pushing of our sports staff to cover... they do, and a lot..., I figured it's time to belly up to the YOSEF Club counter, and go from intangible (getting APP free air time) giving, to actual membership and giving .... I think I might just go ahead an...

Re: Love for Lamb
any qb can put up big numbers in the first and second quarter, but you find out what kind of a leader he is when the games on the line in the forth. On that note, all you have to do is look at the bowl game. Lamb drives us 80 yds in less than a minute, including a 35 yd scramble for the winning fie...
