Re: Attendance
I remember a few years ago there was a lightening delay and they came over the PA and told folks to head to Varsity. Since there was no construction the exit we took was across the field and out the gate by the ticket office and the large rock. Construction makes some of that not possible but havin...

Re: Typical UNC
This is why more people hate UNC than like them. Hell, most people who cheer for UNC are strictly basketball fans and have no idea of the arrogance and elitist attitude of the administration or many in the student body. I will not lump every student or alumni in with the vocal bunch, because I would...

Re: Section 203 2 tickets for App/Coastal $75 total
Dang. Had friends who wanted to come with my wife and I earlier in the week. Couldn't find tickets from our usual sorces. They made other plans. Now these are up in our same section and row. If you want to sell for any other game let me know and I'll take them.

Re: T-Shirts
Not a T shirt worthy win, IMO It would be like making a mythical "state champions" tshirt (BAD IDEA for anyone thinking about it). This was a big win for the program, but let's not make this a career/program defining victory. It ain't. How about a baby blue t-shirt that states "State Champions 2nd ...

Re: Unsung at UNC
I've only watched it once, and will look again for 88, but you are correct. I noticed everytime Sutton had the ball, he worked hard for any extra yardage he could get. No running out of bounds when several extra yards were available, no matter the pounding he had to take. Heart of a Mountaineer!! T...

Re: Coastal Carolina
While we moved the ball well against the Heels, they tackled really well in the secondary limiting yards after the catch. Coastal does not have near the athletes that the Heels do. We’ll move the ball at will. As to Coastal’s offense - it might take a series or two for our D to settle in, but once ...

Re: Ted Roof Crow Thread - Come Get Your Dinner
Called for prevent D at the end of the 1st and played soft at the the game letting UNC make it a close game. I’m still far from sold on Roof being who we need as a defensive coordinator. Our history is filled with prevent defense and making games closer than they could have been. As is many other t...

I think mtoddsolomon is a troll I think your mom is a troll. Construction management grad 2008. On the front row at Michigan, and at all three national championships. I just act like we’ve been there before because we have. I’m sorry I think more highly of our program than you do. Read any of the C...

Re: Good game heelz
That first EZU game years ago was almost the opposite. Every play in the second half they had a guy go down yet we seemed to have none. I found that amazing at the time. Someone needs to get in the way back machine and find out what we were doing that season I would bet we were not booing their pla...

Re: Good game heelz
The cramping came close to being an issue, saw Sutton cramp up then others. I seriously hope our staff takes note of that for the next time the team travels off the mountain into the devil's humidity, so it won't cost the team any integrity. Their bodies just weren't used to the humidity. If they a...

Re: Message To App Fans
Holy Crap I was glad to be in 131! We ended up having shade much of the game and still sweated my nads off. If I ever go back there on a hot day I will pay whatever to be high up on the home side in the shade. Had a great group of very loud, very energetic Apps around me!

Re: Biggest win in school history, it was good while it lasted......
While I have an intense disdain for UNC, I hope they win a few more games this year. It helps our strength of schedule and dangit, I like Mack Brown. He is the lone person at that institution who has said positive things about App to the press. He wants us to be successful. Go listen to his intervie...

Re: Don't look now but...
If we stay healthy and keep improving we could have 2 P5 wins this year! But first things first. 1-0 each week. Gotta go through an improved Coastal team next week.

Re: Greensboro sports page 19 Sept 2019
Same with most of these columns from Raleigh, Charlotte, etc. Where do these guys think our students are from? And where do they think our alumni live? And for that matter, what do they thing the mountains are? Have they never been to Boone? Do they just flip through some old Snuffy Smith comics an...

Re: Felt like crawling through the radio
That guy is a little beotch! Excuse after excuse. Complained about the guy getting thrown out for targeting. It was clearly helmet to helmet! Whined about recruiting. He did say they need to change recruiting strategy and not just get size. Backhanded of course, but said we got under their pads and ...
