Re: ECU Ticket Sales on Monday
I just ordered tickets. I got Section 342. Does anyone know which side app will be on? I assumed the home side since we are technically the home team. Sections all over the stadium were coming up from searches on the app site so I assume they are not all app tickets. It showed the tickets are avail...

UNC makes “State Camps” ring with logo of bowl they lost
https://twitter.com/tarheelfootball/status/1394796178563387397?s=21 College football Twitter is collectively clowning them. This reeks of Mac Brown’s rah rah style. If any player wears this participation trophy I wouldn’t want him on my team. What a perfect demonstration of their entitlement and lac...

Re: Endzone question
I would like to see new lighting installation for better lighting for night games. .....and, of course, better TV cameras placements so it does not give appearance that games are being filmed from Howard's Knob The west sideline camera bays in the athletics facility aren’t going anywhere. It would ...

Ha!
I’m not worried about that unless they decide to bring their basketball team to KBS.

Re: NEZ Overhang
Are you guys talking about the awning over the NEZ seating sections or the lack of columns at the ground level?
When we bought NEZ seats it was advertised that they would install a cover after the first season it was complete. It was a big selling point for my fair-skinned wife.

Re: Spring Practice
First question- if Brice does win the job doesn’t he really have 2 seasons remaining if he chooses to play? Second question- are we ever going to trust our highly (somewhat at least) paid and experienced coaching staff to actually evaluate and play the best available QB on the roster? I’m sure old ...

Re: Herd game update - Thursday
We aren't in a position to say no to TV. We have over six months of notice. Take PTO and get a babysitter. I prefer Saturday games as much as the next fan and I HATE that we'll lose 30% attendance because of this, but this has been our reality for many years at this point. I'm not even remotely outr...

Re: 2021 Expectations...
I would also argue that it’s not intuitive from the website on how to join the Yosefs Club. From an outsider view, the website is trash. Not a single button says “Join Yosefs Club Now” in any way. I know this just hits on the nature of our “good boys club,” as it feels you have to know someone high...

Re: 2021 Expectations...
My experience is that 20 somethings aren't philanthropic. They want security and value for their $. Yosef doesn't provide either. For the $50 donation Yosef should give a $60 retail value gift, and do it every year. Don't expect an immediate return from those low level donors. Once they are in and ...

Re: 2021 Expectations...
Yeah I don't think the teacher excuse is playing a big role in our lack of boosters, per-capita. App produces loads of high paid business grads too. Plus, if you're like me and almost everyone else my age you don't do anything related to your undergraduate major. Millennials are the number one buyin...

Re: Decision Announcements
Just curious if anyone knows how App St super seniors coming back compares to other P5 and G5. We had many players cone back that made significant contributions ( Sutton 2019). Are other teams getting as many starters or significant contributors as we are? There's an ESPN+ article out today (if you...

Re: Athletic fees for general students
Now, I'm in favor of funding every single one of those amenities and funding athletics through student fees even though I don't think I ever played pool in the student union once while I was a student at Appalachian. I'll be honest-I was expecting you to say you would often be found in the Student ...

Re: Athletic fees for general students
Our students pay a comparable percentage of the total cost of athletics as our cohort. Obviously, considering we've been nationally ranked for at least one week the past three football seasons it continues to be among the best in ROI in the NCAA. % of total revenue from student fees (https://sports....

They have rapid testing now with results in 15 minutes. I got one myself recently.
