Re: Still Jonesin'???
I saw a post or two from him but I'm not sure if it was here or the old MMB. Not much though, and tame by old standards.

Re: Boneyard Banter Photo
I'm confused. What's their point? I see nothing out of the ordinary. They are just upset because we aren't wearing scarves, frilly blouses and eye patches.

Re: Tennessee all sec wr kicked off team
OK...I should have read the article before posting. I still think signing this kid would be borrowing trouble, but from the article it doesn't appear that he is ineligible to return to TN. He was suspended (not dismissed) from the team, and Coach Dooley "doesn't expect him to return" which implies t...

Re: Tennessee all sec wr kicked off team
I think that Coach Moore's practice of NOT accepting transfers who are not eligible to return to their former team is a good one. Perhaps there are exceptions, but generally these guys bring tons of baggage and IMO they damage the chemistry of our team. An SEC team does not release one of these play...

Re: TOP 40 FCS FOOTBALL TEAMS PER STEELE
Wow 16th? That hurts! His analysis seems to be based on last year + returning starters + returning lettermen. It's a little disappointing and I certainly hope it's not accurate. I believe we'll be much more a factor than that even if we aren't a NC contender. We'll have a much better idea in three w...

Re: Post-Game Prayer
One more comment. No law in this nation can attempt to prohibit voluntary prayer. It is a direct violation of the first amendment. As the saying goes...as long as there are exams, there will be prayer in schools.

Re: Post-Game Prayer
I live in the Chattanooga area and the Freedom From Religion Foundation is suing to stop prayer in THE ROCK West as well as a local high school. What can they do about a player led post-game prayer? They are also trying to stop the high school coach from using religious references or witnessing to ...

Re: Sorry fellas, size does matter!
Interesting stats. My only comment is that size obviously matters in football (other factors being equal) but it is not the only thing that matters. Those top D's choose their big boys from a group of outstanding atheltes because they have them available, so their players are both big AND athletic. ...

Re: Scrimmage Opinions
I'm not a coach, but I was impressed with our young WR crew. I think that quesiton is somewhat answered. We're good at QB. I thought JJ looked very good and KB did a good job also...some very athletic plays without the red jersey. I think we still have question at OL and Defensive secondary. Potenti...

Re: Problems at UNC may be even deeper
I'm definitely not happy that there are those who would cheapen my degree. Of course, my degree was granted over 16 years before Julius Peppers showed up in Chapel Hill. I honestly don't see this as cheapening a degree from UNC. Yes, it's embarrassing but the issue to specific to the athletic depar...

Saw this over on the MMB...umm...the OLD MMB.
Wow...can't believe I'm the 3rd person to post in the NEW Appalachian Football Folder. Really had nothing to say, but wanted to post.
I do hope Tanyi takes advantage of this opportunity. Hate that hew burned his bridge at App.
