Re: Hoping the Marching Mountaineers are going to UGa

I wish the BOD would take a page out of the MEAC's book. They take marching very seriously yet still look like they have a lot of fun with the formations/dancing/etc. Watching our band vs them is like being stuck at a fancy garden party while the neighbors are throwing a raging cookout.

Re: Stadium idea

A couple of hours after that game I found one of my friends slumped on his couch, glass of bourbon in hand, blasting Temple of the Dog. He was a senior and very devastated after Quick's drop.

Re: Hoping the Marching Mountaineers are going to UGa

Agreed, though if I recall correctly they have not traveled to many of our "big" games recently. UT's band played HiHi Yikas in front of our section last year, I'm sure they came to regret that as the game went on.

I think we'd all be fine if we had beer hats to block the sun and rain.

Re: Appalachian State still haunts Michigan Fans

I actually ran into a Michigan alumnus while I was on vacation in Hong Kong in 2013. Both of us were wearing tshirts from our respective schools and although we briefly talked about the game he did not want to pose for a picture. lol

Re: UGA tickets

Usually the ticket office reserves a block of tickets just for students. I seem to recall them being sold during the 1st week of classes. Worth a call to see what their plan is for UGA. This. A few friends and I spent several early mornings waiting in line for tickets to ECU, Florida and VT when I ...

I too have access to edit, and there is quite a bit of editing that needs to be done.

The "Campus and surrounding area" section is a joke.

Re: What's wrong with CBS sports best G5 teams to make a NY6 day bowl game

I'm not really getting all the Wyoming love I've seen over the past season or two (Nationally, Reddit, BBS, etc.) Sure, Bohl has turned them around, but are they really that good?

Also, love your enthusiasm...but you might want to invest in a couple of periods and commas.

Re: New video board

I like video boards, but they take away from the real college football atmosphere as well as basketball atmosphere. I like them at pro games, where you are sitting so far from the field that the players look like ants. The video board makes it look like a TV broadcast, which I can see at home in th...

Anyways, as was proven last year, we are just fine without Gibbs. All the best to him, however.
It was, and again several times since then.

We need a Gibbs sticky.

Re: If you were DG or Fox...

Close down all ski resorts , disable all UNC and Duke games from airing anywhere in Watauga County, change the climate in Boone to be favorable for those on campus that walk to games, shut down the football program, oh and win. Do all those things and we might break the 5k average attendance. Even ...

Re: Interesting opinion piece regarding Coastal in the local paper

If you've ever been to Five Points, you know how bad Columbia can be as far as debauchery and violence goes. I remember a young girl catching a stray bullet and dying a few years ago. In fairness, we should just agree that, outside of Greenville and Charleston, the entire state of SC is a third-wor...
