Re: Recruiting, 2013
I wonder if there is an exception for a start-up program? If 2012 didn't count as a redshirt season because they hadn't started yet, maybe he could sit out 2013 and have 4 remaining. I was thinking the same thing Mike. That's why I hadn't said anything. I wanted to know what the rules were concerni...

Re: Terror at Boston Marathon Finish Line; Several Dead
Kudos to yesterday's first responders. Those rushing TOWARD the explosions to help those who were injured brought back memories of PANYNJ/NYPD/FDNY rushing into the Twin Towers. You are all heroes and are the reason why our country WILL NOT EVER be afraid of the cowards who attack us. I agree. I wi...

Re: Recruiting, 2013
I saw this earlier but I haven't been able to truly confirm it through any sources other than his twitter so I hadn't put it up yet. The other reason was I wanted to see, if true, how many years he would have. If I hear anything I'll let you know. EDIT: I just checked their football page and he's no...

Re: Charlotte Scrimmage Roll Call
Don't show that to the unc-c folkss they will call that 15 people......... And crop it at the hedge to "prove" their point. That's funny, as the pictures I posted were from YOUR fans on Twitter/instagram. I'm curious Clayton. Were you or any of the posters on the board link you posted earlier actua...

Terrorism, whether it be internal or external, is alive and continuing even though some prefer not to use the word anymore. Thoughts and prayers to all those injured and to the families of those killed by these cowards.

Re: An Actual Football Discussion
Just heard DJ say on the baseball broadcast that Karl Anderson will be coming back to team after the spring. Heard that as well, could be a huge unexpected boost. Karl played great in place of Grier last season. That is great news. It gives us some depth and a good player in the one weak area of ou...

Re: Recruiting, 2013
That is huge I agree. With what we have coming back and off injury plus this incoming class we are stacking the D-backfield for several years to come. D-Line sounds to be in pretty good shape from your report from AK, and if we get a couple of LB's from the incoming class or maybe pickup another tr...

Re: Recruiting, 2013
According to reports DB Treyon Garnett (6' 1" 180) of Miami Beach Senior High in Miami Beach, FL has committed to App for the 2013 season. He didn't have the test scores he needed complete before signing day but has completed them now. He will be signing his LOI this weekend. He is listed as a three...

Re: Charlotte Scrimmage Roll Call
Thanks for the well wishes guys. I'm a little young to come that close to seeing my mom and dad again. All I can say is thank God for all my years of training as a medic. At least I had some clue as to what was happening and what to do. I look forward to hearing the reports and about the big crowd. ...

Re: Charlotte Scrimmage Roll Call
Well I was going but on the 8th I was given a new medicine and I had a severe reaction to it. Let's just say things got real close and I'm on full rest for a couple more days until it's completely out of my system and they are sure I don't have permanent damage. I so love my life right now. I...

Re: Recruiting, 2013
Just wanted to let everyone know that the new 2013/2014 Baseball Page is up and running complete with player pages. You can access it the same way as the football and basketball pages. Main Menu-Sports-Baseball-Recruiting-2013/2104 Recruiting. I added the / to the page since the new kids will be her...

Re: Article on recent unpleasantness
I'm very familiar with the whole situation (I hear about it EVERY DAY) and even know Ms. Price's ex husband but after a bad day posting yesterday I think I will sit this one out and stick to the recruiting pages.

Re: This should put an end to CUSA's habit of taking SBC sch
This is potentially huge news for the Sun Belt and App. Word is the AAC is pretty upset with CUSA trying to kill the Sun Belt and expand to 16. JMU will really be on the clock if this revenue split is agreed upon. Add this $1 Million in with the Sun Belt TV deal and we have made up nearly 1/2 of th...

Re: Group of Five Revenue
Seriously, if WKU and MTSU bail on cusa, App and the Sun Belt are in a better position then they have ever been. Drop Idaho and NMSU, save the cost and deadweight. App would then have WKU, MTSU, GSU, GaSt and Troy as regional rivals, and conference monies would also go up with the more competative ...

Re: Jerry Moore at UNCC football practice Today
And FYI it's the last one. I hope this doesn't mean you're stopping with the recruiting info. I have really enjoyed reading those pages. Nope...not quitting. Just having a very bad day. But mainly I meant that it's the last page for now as Baseball 2014/2015 doesn't have a lot of info right now. I'...

Re: Jerry Moore at UNCC football practice Today
Speaking of recruiting I have finished the 2013/2014 baseball page and Yosef will have it up for all to see very soon. He or 78' will post a notice in the baseball thread as soon as it's available for all to see. Enjoy. And FYI it's the last one.

Re: Jerry Moore at UNCC football practice Today
I don't think it is a big deal. I may be called wishy washy but as far as I am concerned Jerry Moore will forever be on App State's mythical Mt. Rushmore. I am happy where we are headed but glad he was part of how we got there. I wish things worked out better but still hope there is a happy ending ...
