Re: Avoid Like the Plague
No problem.I would take Lundy , as well as Conroy . Lundy would be a fallback choice for me if we weren't able to attract our top choice. Conroy can pack sand. I can't imagine either of them being Gillin's number one pick. My number one choice would be Scott Cross, current assistant at TCU and form...

It's always nice to beat that old Blundering Turd in any sport be it football, softball, or shuffleboard.

Re: SB Defeats Iowa State
It looks like softball might have finally awoken. Have we ever had a winning record in that sport since the program was begun?

Re: Ga Suthin game
If a change was going to be made during the season it would have been made back in January. Fox is going to be allowed to stagger over the finish line and then a decision will be made.

Sounds like kind of your routine drunk and disorderly to me. Make 'em run a few stadium steps as punishment.

Not according to that link you posted. The way I read it the average points per game includes all 26 games played be they against Division I or Division II opponents.

Re: Georgia State 2/21 Gamethread
Wanna know why that average points per game total is so high? Try 125 points against Mars Hill, 100 points against Howard, 99 points against mighty Milligan, and 91 points against Winston-Salem St. Foes like those will raise your scoring average everytime. Okay, okay, I'll give them credit for the 1...

Re: Georgia State 2/21 Gamethread
I can see how someone would think we have a legitimate chance to win every time we take the court. The problem is that the opposite is also true. We have a legitimate chance to lose every time we take the court too. The latter has to change for the program to be successful.

Re: New Hire
Has anyone identified where a $200,000 buy out would come from? I wonder how our athletic budget can absorb it. And I think the AD made the two year decision when an extension was granted. I’m fully expecting to have at least one more year. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If Gillin didn'...

Re: Best Live Music Experience --- PART 2
Yes on Linda Ronstadt - had a chance to see her around 1970, my cousin was a Duke student and she was on campus and he invited me over - I didn't go --- always wished I had!!! - she was a beauty. My culturally deprived 19 year old cousin had never heard of Linda Ronstadt. I bought her a CD of Linda...

I have it on DVD somewhere. I always loved it whenever the Cubs had a rain delay on WGN and they would show a re-run of Rat Patrol.

WOODSTOCK My hippie cousin was actually at Woodstock and she said the only act that really rocked the joint was Ten Years After. Watching the film of the event I have to concur. I'll say Woodstock for Ten Years After's set. Others: Lynyrd Skynyrd Marshall Tucker Band Bob Seger Hank Williams Sr. Jer...
