Loved how the article noted that Zac's from Alabama...like they're laying claim to him.
Could be a backhanded swipe around the South Alabama staff for for landing an in state stud?
Perhaps but winners want to play for winners.. :D

Re: Nice Article in Greensboro News & Record

Also, looks like NC A&T is still thinking about moving up to FBS. Charlie Cobb is quoted in this:

Re: Nice Article in Greensboro News & Record

Very good article. I look back at what the haters were saying last year about how we'd drop like a rock (no pun intended) after Satt left, and I just laugh. The AAC may make a move in 2 years, and we are already in the conversation. Hopefully the author is right and the fun is just beginning. For n...

Re: ESPN: Biggest Question Remaining for Top 25- #21 App State

The reason so many people are stating the benefits of being ranked is because we've had to endure over and over again frequent posters who are constantly lecturing us fans not to get excited about being ranked and even that we shouldn't be ranked and how it'll jinx the team and god forbid we talk ab...

Re: Salary of Coaches

I've read before how the AAC has a much more lucrative TV contract than the Sun Belt so that's how they're able to pay those types of salaries. As it is now, we're subject not just to P5s hiring away our coaches but also the AAC and top tier MWC schools poaching. If we're able to join the AAC it'd b...

Re: Nice Article in Greensboro News & Record

Maybe it’s in the way the Yosef Club is marketed? I mean DG proposed crowdsourcing for new video scoreboard and had the funds pledged to it within a matter of weeks. One idea that comes to mind is this Jerry Moore Plaza they’re building. Are they doing a brick campaign for that? If not why not? You...

Re: Nice Article in Greensboro News & Record

I mentioned this to someone the other day, but one way that we can continue to differentiate ourselves from other potential AAC programs is to continue to increase giving to Yosef - particularly increasing the number of donors. This does multiple things - one, it helps us fund programs and salaries...

Re: Nice Article in Greensboro News & Record

I've read that the AAC wants schools that can be competitive with P5s since they're marketing and pushing the P6 thing so hard. and I know the cart is way before the horse here... but what if the AAC comes knocking in a couple years for a football only deal? That's a possibility and I'd sti...

Re: Nice Article in Greensboro News & Record

I still say the end game is the American Conference. That's the conference that gets noticed the most outside of the P5. Eventually I think they'll want to expand either out of necessity (due a Big XII raid) or because they want to expand their footprint into the giant gap they have in their map th...

Re: Construction

One possibility is that they're leaving room for a small grassy area between the seating and the playing field. Something like the new building at UNC or I believe Georgia Southern has something similar as well. Yeah, and it's hard to tell how far out the bleacher seats will extend away from the bu...

I can't stop looking at the endzone camera. I knew the the new field house was going to be large but it looks huge. Maybe it's the angle?
